Yep home chips are the same. I like them but only buy them when they are on a very good special offer. I find Sainsbury's normal range oven chips very nice too, particularly the steak cut ones. They aren't coated but are very tasty and are all good sized chips xx0

I still miss the ones Iceland used to sell called "The best oven chips in the world", they stopped selling them a few years ago.0

OH has a thing that he prefers crinkle cut chips, used to only like the Home Chips but I started buying Aldi own crinkle cut and he much prefers those, in fact I don't really like chips and I like them too.
do make my own sometimes but oven chips are handy to just bung in the ovenFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Swede, turnip and celeriac are supposed to be lower carb than spuds so my OH does HM oven chips his own way, based on a Rose Elliot recipe. Swede oven chips are fantastic. Ocado has Bare Necessities organic swedes for 99p usually on Smart Pass.
Waitrose does organic oven chips but I think OH would buy McCains himself if in supermarket, although he tucks into the Waitrose ones without complaint.0 -
McCains Homefries or Homechips as they are now for me too. It's one of the brands where when I tried downshifting I can always tell the difference. Aunt Bessies are my second choice if I can't get McCain Homechips.0

How weird cos I was going to post about oven chips today:D
Been a long time since I bought any and noemi overwhelmed with the choice. I got some home chips I think they were, but they are coated and in my mind - disgusting
I want a chip, just potato, no coating for crispiness. Other then the crinkle cuts, is there a decent oven chip out there?0 -
I love Tesco Crinkle Cut Oven Chips - delicious & gluten-free :j0
