No Spend day for us, been talking to OH and he is going to join in aswell - he has £4.60 left over in change from last week and is going to use that, I've got ... goes to find purse ... how wierd, £4.70 lol, may need to get £10 out as school things start again this week, so £14.70 for me = £19.30 for the pair of us, not including the £40 for groceries!

    Hi everyone!
Lil_me - you had me rocking with your post about spending more time putting things back than buying - that's me through and through at the moment!
Catowen - I think you get to chose what your weekly target includes.

Today I spent considerably more in Tesco than I'd planned, but it was all groceries bar 21p for Christmas tags and wrapping paper.
    Total spend was £7.97

Not many of my friends have Xbox 360s yet, But I might just borrow some of there games for the time being until I spot a bargain or feel I have deserved to treat myself. My budget for this week is £50 so I cant really complete this if I buy a game. And I want to pass the budget rather than play the game.

    That's the spirit!!! :T :T :T :T :T

Hiya Moozie...I gave up I'm afraid. I have a dd who I seem unable to say no to when she wants new clothes etc. She is at college but might encourage her to get a little job. I'm giving it another go but this time raising it to £60 this includes everything, grocery, any extras etc. Here goes...x :D

You can do it dizzy lizzie! Put the last week down to experience, practice saying 'NO' or 'Get a Saturday job' and things will get easier.

Stick with it, the result is worth it ;)
