I'm hoping for a NSD today. I don't generally do Sunday to Friday, just take each day as it comes and try not to spend too much. I compare back to my notes for the month before to see if I'm doing better or worse at the same point. So far I'm beating December, so that's got to be good. Spent £45.98, but a lot of that was because family was over from abroad, so went out for a few drinks and such like.
But I'll give the challenge a go and give myself £45.98 to see if I can beat last week. If I carry on like this, I will spend £200ish for the whole month which gives me £200 to save out of my £400 "pocket money."Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
Mortgages (End 2017) - £180,235.03
(End 2021) - £131,215.25 DID IT!!!
(End 2022) - Target £116,213.810 -
morning moozie
last weeks sunday to friday challange i spent £1.70 :T and i am chuffed to bits :T i am not going anywhere today as i am having a friend round (about now
) to play on my wii... so we will take her back home but that should be it... next week i have got to send a return back to amazon (but i should get that refunded) so i have a seperate budget of £10 for that (heavy book) but my challenge money sunday to friday will be the left overs of this weeks budget so £3.30 for me
plus £2 for my crickets for gollum... so a total of £5.30... i have shown it can be done... i just have to stick to this till i get to my target (see sig) have a nice day all of you

Ive not attempted this challenge before, but would like to join in. I think i will go for spending under £30, as i know i do need some bits from Tescos later in the week. I do have 2 birthday presents to buy, do i need to include those as well?0

Hi All, Have watched the threads on the Sunday to Friday challenge for a while now and am finally going to give it a go, I'll set my total as £20 to start with as I don't have much more than this left in the bank now anyway until the 26th! But I'm sure I can do it! Will have to have lots of NSD this week for sure!Just trying to be me.....0

Morning everyone
My target for last week was £50, unfortunately i spent £60.09 .
I'm looking at my spending diary right now and there's a lot of things which i could cut out on daily which would surprisingly amount to a nice sum at the end of the month, i really do need to try harder.
My target for this week shall be £40.
Good luck everyone.
ETA: NSD for me today.0 -
Hello guys and gals

Thank you for the updates so far - keep them coming! Overall, we did well in the first week of 2007 which is a good beginning
Welcome to taxi73, mh1923, liewe heksie, pollyanna24, lyric grace and catowen. Hope you enjoy your first week and you succeed!
Today is a non spender for me. I have a roast in the oven, the table is set and I will be making a crumble for dessert soon.
I hope you are all having a good day :beer:Leason learnt :beer:0 -
Hey Moozie hope your dinner goes well today. No spend day for me the one good thing about living on this island is that absolutely nothing is open on Sundays. Can i join your challenge? just planning on spending £10 on petrol this week. Hopefully.0

Afternoon everyone, well mine was £80, with the boots for me (which I actually noticed this morning were £50, not £40 reduced to £15) shoes for the boys, day out at the sealife centre, and lunch, plus the few other bits this week came to £76.64
wohooo £3.36 left, which is in the savings jar
This weeks Sunday - Friday challenge, hmmm kids back to school, swimming restarts, dentist appointment for me, therapy session to pay for (Indian Head Massage this time
) and DP appointment, I'll need petrol which is already in the car, hopefully will last me but mat need a little more, need parking fees and a few other things aswell as swimming fees etc, £30 should hopefully cover it. Groceries on seperate budget of course.
I'll start the week off with a NSD day today, be too busy preparing things for kids going back to school etc anyway. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0
