Does Kwik Fit MOT certificate worth more than other MOT certificates?

I'm leaving the UK soon and I want to sell my car probably in a month or two - I did MOT today to the car @ Kwik Fit and passed, after paying for some small stuff they wanted to fix which wasn't too bad.
I am wondering if the fact the certificate comes from them makes it worth more than if I would have the MOT certificate from unknown place? .... Thanks for your help!

An MOT certificate comes from VOSA and not the garage, it'll just be stamped to say it's from Kwik Fit.
it's not going to add any value to the cost of the car. Although it might knock the value down when people realise you've let monkey's with spanners at it

Now there is a surprise I wonder what that was.0 -
Don't forget to mention in the sales ad it has 1/4 of a tank of Esso fuel and an authentic magic tree.
But seriously there is no such thing as a designer brand of mot certificate.0 -
Buyers will think what sort of person lets kwik fit rip them off for work that probably did not need
doing anyway.
Lets offer them less than 50% of the asking price...Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Don't think I'd be happy to buy a car that's been MOT'd by Kwik Fit, they're very likely to have done stuff that didn't need doing cause there's some comision to be had yet left some dangerous stuff un done because there's not much in it for the fitter.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

As I'm sure I've mentioned before, because of the universal belief that KF will fail everything, a friend of mine (A long established Trader) now puts all of his stock through KF. It is a talking point and because the cars are so well prepared, they never get as much as an advisory.
I think his and the OPs reverse logic might start meaning something soon.0 -

But your friend is in the trade, less likely to be taken for a mug than their average punter, they just wouldn't get away with it, they also will be thinking that there is no point finding unecesary work as they probably won't get the job anyway.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
MOT garages are subject to scrutiny, and have to meet a certain standard.
The MOT tells the garage what to test and the criteria for pass/fail.
There may be minor variations in what may or may not pass at a particular place at a given time, but any garage being too lenient will be pulled up, and it is not possible to be too strict.
The garage is free to inform you of anything that is not covered by the MOT test, but it is not part of the MOT to get them fixed.
I usually ask them to let me know if there is anything that looks like it needs doing, anyway.
I've previously had a test centre replace a light, and I was pleased that they it. (I've had my cars tested there several times and it's only happened the once, so I am happy that it was them being genuinely helpful.)0
