Was there anything special you had to do when signing up? I registered in the time.. and received notification email. Welcome email has just come through but no credit :S

I've just checked mine and no points are showing so far.
Ok, there's a little more time to go, but I was wondering how I'd know that I'd missed the first 27000 (or what ever it was) applications ?
