BT Wholesale keep a database matching your telephone number to your ISP. If you go onto a different ISP and they do a check on your line to see whether it's able to have ADSL installed then this will tell them.

i emailed james murdoch heaps and eventually this woman replied that she was giving the task of sorting it out and that any queries get back to her and that it would take at least 7 to 10 days to find the tags/ markers, i emailed her twice and she ignored me, so i am back to emailing jimmy again, isnt it funny it takes a couple of days for them to put the markers on and weeks for them to find them and take them off, i am going back nildram

i spoke to a chap in provising at sky yesterday he was grumpy and i asked to speak to a manager but guess what they were all busy, so i explained and he said he would go and get it done manually and i thought if this is right why havent they done it before, but it is probably all lies , well i phoned bt today and yes sky phoned them yesterday and the tags are coming off on the 22 nd, they actually did it by email before that but it got stopped going through one of skys depts and no one bothered to do it again, yes cant wait, i have nildram set up ready to go
