It was really expensive for a hire car in Spain the last year or two but the prices have recently dropped.
I've booked a 5 door Corsa for 2 weeks from Valencia in Sept with economycarhire.com for £186 with 2 drivers, no excess and insurance to cover any additions like windscreen, tyre damage loss of keys etc
But now with doyouspain.com you can get a 5 door Clio for €149 for 2 weeks in Sept from either Valencia or Alicante airports with no excess, not sure about additional drivers though. This was a lot more a month or so ago when I booked mine.
Also both will charge for a tank of petrol ( overpriced I know)
You can do one way to Javea with doyouspain but it is €59 for the minimum 3 day hire + €30 one way fee although you could probably do full/full on the petrol but it would still work out more expensive than keeping it for the two weeks plus you'd have the use of the car for sightseeing.0 -
Have just used Alamo to get from Exeter to Gatwick one way. Their website has an Airport connect section. We were charged £50 for a Zaphira type. For us it worked out cheaper than taking our own car and parking at/near the airport. Hope this helps.0
