  • Hello ladies,

I have been away for over a week now so I haven't managed to catch up with all that has been going on with you lovely ladies yet so for now hugs for all those who need them and I see congratulations are in order for studentMrs.

Well, DH was made redundant so financially everything is up in the air meaning that TTC is on hold for now. However, I still have not had my AF and a BFN about 4 days after it was due. I also go EWCM on the day my period was due. Not sure whether this was 2nd ovulation or if I never ovulated when I thought I had. If it was ovulation then that would mean I am now 9DPO. I have had some lightheadness today and yesterday - I feel as if I am floating and about to have an out of body experience then after about a minute I feel fine again. I am eating regularly so its not that so quite frankly I am not sure what is going on!

Hope everyone is ready for xmas (I am not!)

    big hugs to you all,
not been reading the past couple of days so forgive me if i've missed anything important
    although congrats to student_mrs!
think the witch has finally arrived. i keep going from being really disappointed about it cos it means no baby, to really rather ok about it as i was so worried this cycle would never end!
although it does annoy me slightly as when my mum said last week when i cried at her 'i'm sure it won't be long now with how you're being' but i guess with 3 daughters and 3 sisters she's gotten good at guessing :rotfl:

also, there has been a breakthrough! Mr has agreed that i can use OPKs and DTD when i say we need to, as long as he doesn't know i'm using them. i'm sure it makes sense in his head
anyway, guna keep my Dr appointment on wednesday to ask to be referred back to the gynae (who is loffly) and to ask if the OPKs will be any cop with my PCOS. from the two monthsish that i temped i seemed to be ovulating but temps were erratic so i think FF was just guessing.
IF they are, what do you ladies recommend?
and whilst i'll miss the Christmas Conception, can i join in the NY weightloss? i have fallen back in love with carbs and they are the enemy, i need to be strict! x x x

I think that you may need OPKs that are less sensitive as with PCOS your body tends to have elevated LH levels and so if they are too sensitive you will get a lot of positives and may miss any surge you have. One of the ladies with PCOS might be able to tell you if I've remembered that correctly or not.

Yes join the NY weight loss, the more of us doing it the more successful it will be because we can encourage each other. :)COMP set up a thread in the Health and Beauty section about weight loss and preparing to TTC but I haven't posted in a while so I don't know whether that's still going or not.

    xx

    Morning well, rather afternoon Everyone!

It's been busy over here, I had my blood test done this morning, at 7.15 there were 9 people waiting already! Thankfully I was out just after 8 and got to work half an hour later.

Hugs for everyone who need them today!
CD12 here, no ovulation just yet. Headache here as well but paracetamol started to work finally.
I will be joining you guys after Xmas, I haven't put on any weight but my body shape has changed since I stopped going to the gym and I don't like it! I'm 9st 6lb at the moment but wouldn't mind going down to 9st.
