Thank you for all your best wishes... It still hasn't sunk in yet and doesn't seem real... I've been away from OH all weekend visiting my mum so I had to ring him this morning to tell him the good news.. He's thrilled!
I wanted to see his face when I told him but also wanted to tell my mum and sis whilst I'd got them together this weekend.
They were in tears bless them.. We've had a rough 12mth, my Sis lost her husband in Nov 10 and my dad died in accident in Jan, so it's the good news our family needed.
It seems mad and u will all think I'm crazy but I'd asked my Dad to send me a baby.. He'll never see his grandchildren so I wanted him to pick me one to send me... He was obviously listening!

That's a lovely thought that your Dad picked your baby jen - I'm sure he'd be thrilled to hear that he will be a grandad.

Have been busy making Christmas Bunting I have a fair on Saturday which is fine but we are out at a Black Tie do on Fridat night for DH work and it is also DH's B'day so not looking forward to an early start the morning after the night before :eek::p:o

On the plus side when AF turns up at least I can have a drinkie :) Have lost my PMA totally now DH & I reckon that I am only meant to have November babies so if that's the case won't b getting my bfp until March :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Just get really frustrated and like QQ just feel that if I could get on and do it myself I would be well and truly up the duffers long before now :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::o:D:p

Evening all.

Congrats Jen! What a lovely Christmas gift.

We had our big Christmas party yesterday, and it was a great success. And with AF in town I got to have a few drinks! 16 adults, and 5 kids running around my little flat was pretty hectic, but all were fed and watered, and the place is mostly still in one piece. We have tons of food left though, as well as lots of alcohol. Last year we ran out of alcohol (it was BYO, but people seemed to underestimate what they would drink) so I slightly overcompensated this year. Lets hope I have a good excuse not to drink it all soon.

So I am now working on developing some decent PMA for the next few weeks. I'll start OPK's again on CD6 as it says on the box, and hopefully have more luck this month. Plus I following up on the tests I did at the Docs a few months back.

Fingers crossed for a fun BD'ing Christmas season!

Having a bit of a day of it! DH left at 7.30 am this morning on his trip to India. The kids have been running me ragged today. DD got annoyed with DS2 in the car on the way home from church this morning and there was a full scale fight, with both crying loudly in the back seat, and DS1 in the front seat shouting loudly at DD to leave her brother alone. I nearly crashed with the stress, not helped by the fact DD was sitting behind me and flailing around madly hitting the back of my seat! Then when I got home I realised she had opened the fridge this morning and eaten uncooked the pizza I had bought for their tea tonight. Shopping gets delivered on Monday mornings, so although I was able to cobble together enough for them to eat this evening, I think I am going hungry tonight. To cap it all, I've just had an email from DD's head to say there was an accident at school on Friday when DD stood up suddenly while her teacher was bending over, and bashed the teacher very hard under the chin. The teacher will be off sick now for several week according to the email (I assume she might have broken her jaw ) and my babysitter has just phoned to let me down for Thursday when she was going to have the youngest two so I could take DS1 for his grading at karate. He's worried he will have to miss it now, and the opportunity only comes round once every 6 months. AND I've still got another whole week (and a day) of the 2ww to go....
