wow lots of september babies!! my parents just missed it with me (oct 6th)

hugs to all on cd1 or just want a hug

this year will be mine and hubbys 2nd xmas after the wedding and we are having it on our own for a change so will be nice to spend some quality time together and as hubby is a butcher cant wait to have a lovely turkey with all the trimmings and a nice glass of wine as were out this month due to my op so can enjoy a drink without feeling guilty

QQ thanx i did warn it would be nasty and TMI
just wish they could find a cure for it but then i have to look on the bright side and realise that these things happen for a reason and be gratefull that i have an amazing family and hubby and all you guys on this forum to cheer me up if im down

My day off hasn't been as productive as a I wanted, mostly because I sat watching tv all morning :rotfl:

I have made some tangy onion chutney and got some courgettes soaking to make pickled courgettes. Both to give to PILs as part of their Christmas presents.

Still got to dye my hair and tidy the washing away before I make tea for when DH gets home from work.

Argh!!:eek::eek: Might have to go to ntnp for a while. There's been a big shake up at work & I might have the chance to apply for a 5k per year pay rise. It's going to take about 3-5 months to work out though - so I need to not tell them if I get pg until I get promoted :rotfl: if I get promoted;).
Also the promotion would be better for me & a child as I think it will be more flexible house wise & the possibility of some working from home. Argh. Heads a mess now.

This happens to me ALL the time! SIL pregnant by accident, close friend also by accident, another back from honeymoon pregnant and another close friend after 1 month of trying. I'm sure they do it on purpose!!!!

From the other side of things, when I started my new job in January I was pregnant 4 weeks later and said that we hadn't been trying and had taken us by surprise. It had taken us by surprise but we had also been trying for over 2 years so had pretty much given up hope. Sometimes people do lie about how long they had been trying for.

I get along by assuming in my head that they have been trying for as long and have had the same upsets as we have so as not get angry with them and be happy for them.
