It makes sense, for eg. I agonised over the duffel coat I bought, but actually it was only £32, if I lose weight I'll wear it still if/when I get pg - otherwise, it's a fashion-less item that I'll wear after pregnancy I think (unless it's too big ;)) I tried putting things off, because of the "but what if...", but actually, like some of the ladies on here, if I put of things like that I'd drive myself even crazier during the TTC journey. My self confidence would also feel lower, which would make both my sx drive and my PMA lower, so it's counterproductive ;)
    :p

Thank you, that makes a lot of sense - and you have helped to ease my shopping guilt! :)
And very well done on the weight loss! :T

Yay for weight loss zippy dearest :) I weighed myself this morning and I've put on 2lbs! Oooops!
Making some cauliflower soup to take for lunches this week so I can start been good again.

You should test later this week with me zippy seeing as we are only a day apart. I too have no idea if I've guessed ov day correctly! :o I'm not expecting to see two lines though! :o
Maybe DH will get his wish and my poor body will get a break. :o

    xx
I'm not expecting two lines either tbh :o If I make it that far (without AF) I shall certainly test with you dearest emsbet :) I love the potato and leek soup with the (cream-less) recipe I found....mmmm oh and mushroom soup with loads of black pepper! NOM! Might have to make some...maybe when MILs home! She loves it too actually so that sounds like a plan....

I only charge £5/hour for babysitting QQ with a minimum of 2 hours to cover my petrol (so I'd still be paid £10 if I only did 1 hour). I think it's a fairly cheap rate, but it means that I will get asked back more, so more work.
    Good idea:)
Didn't know that about the multivitamins. Will have to find the cheapest source for pregnancy ones.
Some say vitamin A on those multi-vits are not good for a baby.
ETA Mr T have 3for2 on their vits at the moment. Is it worth me getting the pregnacare conception ones x 2 then a pregnancy one, or is it ok to take the pregnancy ones when pre-conception too?
I usually get ordinary pregnacare these days:money:

I'm pretty sure I would have ov'd some time this week. CD22 for me today, but have had slightly long cycles for the last few months.
I've put you at 4/5dpo, but let me know if you'd like it changed:)
does anyone else feel slightly weird about buying new clothes while TTC? Part of me thinks it will be a waste of money
I buy whatever I want. There's waistbands for skirts & trousers, and you are only big for about 6 months or so anyway:)

Yes In my defense I am CD41ish & I'm bored, and I needed to pee on something. If it makes you feel any better I also used an opk - and I did have to test those tests for Nicki. Oh ... that reminds me...

Nicki - those tests from eBay work!! :rotfl:

Well I ended up going to Boots in the end, as they have their own conception support vitamins for £3.99 for 30, and they are on 3for2 at the moment. I was going to get Moon the wellman conception vits, but they'd run out. They did have the his and hers sonatogen ones, so I looked at all of the ingredients in them, compared them to Boots' own A-Z vitamins and minerals, and they had virtually the same amounts of everything in them, so I got him those (they were £5 something), so with the 3for2, I spent just over £9 for 2 packs of mine, and a 90 tablet pack for Moon.:money:
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Oh wow, I didn't even know such a thing existed! Just been googling them, they look great. Thanks, I feel much better not potentially wasting money now! :)

Yep, 4/5dpo sounds about right to me.

My friend says she knew she was pregnant all three time (sadly on mc) cos she was shattered and had lost weight...not that I'm SSing for you too...
Thanks for the kind thoughts, it would be great for children to have cousins close in age, PMA and all that :)
Think I'm gonna go to the doctors to out my mind at rest, no AF and feel like I did last time I was pg, even down to a sore right shoulder from heavy boo bs, but still bfn. So I going to book an appointment which probably won't be for a couple of weeks knowing my doctors, by which point sod's law says AF will come and we can get started on next month :)))
I know it's mental for a PCOS lady to sdepend on regular periods. It they have been since I lost 2.5 stone and started taking metformin, they've been like clockwork, and even the mc didn't change it that much, just how the flow was
Also, I fuss. And worry. All the time. Plus dh is having a glum day because of the miscarriage/no baby yet thing. Which is sweet that he cares so much, just don't like seeing him bummed out :(
Making tikka masssalla from scratch for my dinners for the week to cheer myself up and have wrapped our christmas presents so that they can look nice under the tree, even thiugh none of the recipients live here lol x x
