Trying for a Baby Part 7

Well I had a naughty couple of days convincing myself I was pregnant and finding all sorts of (probably psychosomatic) symptoms..... stomach cramps, hot flushes, runny nose (?!?)... and did a cheeky test yesterday which was of course BFN. Have now resolved to wait and see if I get AF on Wednesday which will be 14 DPO and then test on Thursday if nothing happens on Wed.
(((Hugs))) for BFN, fingers crossed for Thursday:oAnyway, me me me... Hope everybody has nice weekend plans? I'm thinking of heading out to the shops early so I can miss the hoards of Christmas shoppers and return the slightly dodgy clothes I was given for my birthday by the in laws...!p.s. in my obsessive naughty SSing couple of days I was googling like mad and found lots of forums where ALL people do is SS. So glad to be part of this one where it is a big no-no from QQ.. !!:D:D

I hate it when the shops get busy. This time of year I hate working in Manchester, it gets soooooo busy. We are going into manc tomorrow because DH wants to meet a friend! Not looking forward to the crowds. May have to console myself with hot vimto and chocolate pancakes from the markets
xx
Ooh I was there yest, had a pretzel, a mulled wine and a waffle with nutella! Felt a bit sick afterward! There's some yummy looking hot chocolate you can have a shot of booze inwas really busy. You just got to go with it! Have fun!
Can't bear the Trafford centre! Too busy!0 -

I was at the markets last Saturday evening and it was rammed. I had a hot cherry wine that was yummy. I saw those hot chocolates last year they did look good but as I'm now 9DPO and around/after implantation I'm not going to drink until after the arrival of AF. I did read somewhere that some studies showed that alcohol can affect implantation by increasing estrogen (I think). I know lots of people drink when they don't know they are pg and baby's fine but after 2 mc's I've decided I don't want to risk it. Especially as when I had my first mc I drank quite a bit sometime after ov at a friend's hen doNot saying that would happen to anyone else or that that was the cause but I guess I'm still looking for reasons why they happened
Other than that I'm been quite relaxed. I'm not restricting what I eat or anything.

The blood test I'm waiting for is kind of a three month average of my blood glucose levels. If too high it's too risky to get pg. high blood glucose in pregnancy can lead to high birth weight but impaired development. I'm in a pre conception clinic and on high dose folic acid etc so just waiting for the test to be really good and then I can be given the go ahead!0

Morning ladies,
Hugs for all of you who are out this month or who are feeling low.
LOL at the biscuit battle last night! I agree with emsbet - jammy dodgers are yuck, but if it was a victoria cream biscuit (you know - the posh jammy dodgers with the cream in), then they would've been in my tumbly! Basically, apart from jammy dodgers, no biscuit is safe near me!Good luck to all waiting for test results.
Woke up at 4.45am today - at least the time is getting later - cos I had a nightmare about a cat being run over, so I had to get up and see if ours was in - he wasn't, but he did come in this morning unharmed, so I'm pleased he's ok.
I had a nice lie-in this morning to make up for my interrupted sleep last night, so I'm off to have my shower now, having had my breakfast, then into town for the food shop.
AF has finally left the building, but CBFM didn't want a stick this morning (despite me PIAC when I woke up at 4.45am just in case), so nothing happening here ttc wise yet.
Best be off,
