Ha ha some OHs don't get the baby making process. Mine is ok with it all and has even given up drinking alcohol this month like me, to see if that makes a difference.
Oooh nice one. Been working on my OH on that one. He's 'cut down' (so he says) but don;t think I could get him to give up. Bless him he only has three or four beers at the weekend. I'm harsh!Kitten_Pie wrote: »
It't hard when since school you've been told that you have to always use protection as you can get pregnant at any time. (technically true) however we all know that it isn't as easy as all that.
Argh I know! Was so paranoid from school. I deffo thought that if I ever had an accident I would be up the duff! Now here I am nearly six months later and I'm like helllooooooooooooo!! Wish i'd know it was this difficult years ago!0 -
I live in Sussex, but Croydon is very reachable from here
. Used to live in Streatham!
So that's why you all need to get your BFPs this month.

I'm in London too, but over in the west.
Feeling a lack of PMA today (having had to look up what that means!). Still pretty sore, although my leg is much better, but I am really starting to think symptoms are feeling much more like a week away from AF than anything else.
Hidden somewhere under the sore abs today was a definite twinge of pre-period cramp. Still a week away, but feeling a lot like a normal cycle - although would be a very short cycle. Can't help hoping though!0 -
Had a talk with DH, we are thinking towards IVF, but not sure yet:huh:
I have to do my sales pitch:shocked:0 -

Better release old ones a day or 2 before ov BD:cool:
And what Nicki said too.
My version of SMEP is:
Have sex on alternate days from CD8 until you OV (I check for EWCM to see when I am Oving).
When you OV, do it three nights in a row.
Have a day off (you will so want it!)
Do it again.
Wait as long as you can before doing a test.
We did SMEP last time and I got pregnant in one cycle. I don;t chart, temp, OPK or do anything except check my discharge, but I do know I get PG easily, so I may not be typical.
And I agree with needing fresh sperm, that's why SMEP starts on day 8. This time, cos I had the mc and then OVd, I made OH DIY in the shower the day before we DTD but as we only managed it once before he went away we may not have got it this time. If not, we will SMEP next month.
It is knackering though! Its great that you have managed to talk about it and that he is open to the option.
When do you have to make a decision, I know you said that you needed to make it before next AF, is that set in stone or a personal deadline?Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
