    christmas biscuits. They are german i think and a bit like gingerbread and icedx

    Little German gingery biscuity cakey type things :) often with white powdered sugar on them. Very Christmassy

    ETA: you've made me think of visiting my German relative at Christmas now :A

    They are lovely and always remind me of Christmas, My Oh family send them over every year (they are German so authentic :) )

    My relative was too. (trying not to be identifyably specific ;))
    They died about 18(?)months ago now and the weirdest little things remind me of them :)

    Yay! for German Christmas treats, they have the best Christmas markets too. Not like ours which always seem to consist of useless tat or normal stuff just more expensive.

    I adore the hot nuts you get from the little carts in the street, really miss those! And the wursts... Mmmmmmm oooh I'm getting all unnecessary thinking about all the treats :D;)
