  • hi all! handed 2 out of 4 essays in from today so thought i could pop in and say hello!

    welcome
to all newbies, I've only been on here 5 weeks but received so many answers to my questions that I feel like a seasoned poster!

CD1 for me QQ but as I've only been off the pill 5 weeks, I have PMA to spare! maybe it's the chocolate :) I did a test yesterday and got a BFN so I knew it was coming... great news to me as it means I did ovulate, yay as the family planning nurse told us that you only get AF when you ov. feels odd to have a proper period not a withdrawal bleed when i have been on the pill for a year and with the implant for the 2 years before that. it seems a short time between ovulation and af though as a 26/27 day cycle? Suppose that my cycles won't be settled yet though.

Going to buy some conceive plus I think and maybe some internet ov sticks but didn't realise you had to hold your wee - don't want to burst! Any other advice/shopping tips for me now I've had my first ovulation and BFN's? Hubby and I feel surprisingly calm about it, not positive but not negative either was what he said when I told him yesterday I'd wasted a HPT! I feel less pressured too as he was wanting to tell people after Christmas if we knew anything as my dad lives in Asia and he wanted to tell him face to face :o

both been to the dentist today for my first ever fillings and didn't eat beforehand so starving now after a dance rehearsal but my mouth is still numb...

SBDTA and I also hope for a christmas clearout!

Sorry to be another one moaning, but I'm between fuming and tearful at the moment!:cry: I came out of work to find that someone had scraped all the way from my front-left wheel arch, all the way along to the back passenger door (obviously with their car) and it has gone right through to the primer! I was parked in a church car-park next to the catholic school I was teaching in, and would have expected people parking there to be more honest and leave a note, but no! I have hardly any money coming in at the moment, and probably won't be able to afford to get it fixed. Will have to get a quote tomorrow if the bodyplace that I went to in April are open on Saturdays. :( Why do people have to be such barstewards?!!! I was really looking forward to having a relaxing weekend tomorrow (haircut booked for the morning), but now I feel guilty about spending my money on the haircut, when I should put it towards the car.

Hugs for all who are feeling low - there seem to be a few of us at the moment.

Hope there is something the doctor can do for mrhappy Mrshappy - the friends of ours who are 7 months pregnant had problems with his sperm, and they gave him some sort of medication to increase the quantity etc, and it obviously worked. Fingers crossed, and try not to worry too much - I know it's easier said than done.

    Welcome tealover and dibdabb.

    SBTA,

Ohhhh not sure how to think about this, I have a bit of brown spotting in my CM which I noticed after 4pm. I am 11 DPO and I am not expecting AF until next Wednesday. Never had this before. And my nausea symptoms seem to be getting worse. Just walked back from taking kids swimming and have gone light headed and nauseous with slight cramps and back ache. Feel so rough and just want to go to bed.
Only other symptom is needing to pee constantly.

I think I may have figured put what is going on with the spotting! Well
I hope I have. It has been more like brown tinged CM the last two days and today I have had loads of brown stained EWCM! It isn't likely I'd have EWCM at any other point in my cycle. The only other time I've have something similar when it hasn't been ov is when I was pg. Do you think my body is messing with me or do you think it might be ov?
I don't have anything else to go by because I keep forgetting to temp and as we are taking a relaxed approach I haven't done OPKs.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm on my phone.

The only symptom I had was the pee-ing thing, and it was constant, until about week 5. So maybe this is your month :D

Can I join in please? I have been lurking for a while but it seems so friendly in here I felt like I should stop lurking and become a legitimate member :) Seems so nice to have this thread, don't really want to discuss TTC with friends and family until we can tell them we have had a BFP!
We have just started TTC, had my coil out this week, though should be due AF this weekend so guess we start officially in a couple of weeks!
Welcome DibDabb, I've added you to the list on the first page, let me know if you'd like your age listed too:)

I had my car vandalised about 3, 4 times so I sympathise :(
they gave him some sort of medication to increase the quantity etc,
DH was prescribed clomid 25mg/day for about 3 months, and it doubled his count, not that it made a baby mind:o

*fingers crossed* it IS OV, emsbet, that would be fab for you.

I could never SS needing to pee all the time, as I am like that everyday of my life :rotfl: I swear I felt a bit 'off' today (like nauseous but a little less), but it's probably random. And crampy too but it's too early for AF so no idea what that was about!
