Big Z, im 32 in 11 days time (not that im counting) but its more the age gap between our boys who will be 7 and 9 when (if) any baby gets here and I worry what that would do to our family.
We have been NTNP now for around 3 yearsIf we all had only 1-4yrs between siblings we would miss out on a lot of points of view and opportunities to mature and grow up in different ways, that you really only get when you have an older sibling - IMHO. That's just my tuppence worth though.
Happy Birthday for 11 (10?) days time:D
Congrats (if thats the right word) on the full flow !
:D I'm daft, cos I get definite CD1 and then if it's not as heavy/heavier the day after I freak out! It got heavier though, so it's definite definite AF
:D (I find it very reassuring
)
Ah thanks guysthat was the only one I wasn't sure of lol. I was close-ish lol.
I've read that morning sperm is more fertile but when we bd in the mornings my oh has problems 'finishing off' but when we were on holiday he was fine so i don't know why he struggles now we are at home? he's fine on a night too, maybe i just don't let him wake up enough before i pounce on him. *shrugs*My DH needs an hour or two to wake up properly too though btw
Seeing as I am back to CD1, I completely by accident ate a whole tub of Ben and Jerry's...! xx(I reeeeally miss B&Js but I just can't have a tub in the house, else it disappears entirely and it's not good for my diet/waistline/BMI/PCOS
)
QQ, I'm not sure when I ov'd. I think it tried to pop the egg around CD20? but maybe struggled for a few days and then released, and that's why I didn't have as much CM then... it's completely a theory though, but that's why we've been DTD on average every 2 days, and bought the Preseed to help with that too. When AF came DH asked me if he'd "done enough this month", as part way through the cycle I had to give him a pep talk because he was going on about how much he wants a baby, but not really DTD enough (not for my peace of mind at least, esp as we both agreed to every second day at minimum, if possible) - I ended up telling him that even with well-timed BD there's only a 30% chance (roughly), and we don't even know when I'm gonna ov, so actually can't time it well; so unless we're at it all the time, we have less than a 30% chance... so he needs to work with me on making it happen more often.He took it on board though, and did make it happen, and then asked me that - whether he'd done enough. I said yes, but that he needs to keep it up next time too - so he told me I have to give him another pep talk when AF's gone! lol
I did explain that I don't like doing it, cos I don't want to put too much pressure on him - but I think the fact that I've no idea when I'm ov'ing, and therefore there's no massive stress from me over a few crucial days, actually helps keep it organic, iyswim?
Anyway, I went off on a tangent there for a moment! My point was I'm not sure when I ov'd- we were being more relaxed about this cycle, on the basis that all we can do is DTD anyway, and we'll have enough stressful cycles when the docs start interfering/intervening, so I only did the very odd opk, no temping, just had a squizz at CM infrequently, and tried not to SS too much or keep referring to FF too much. I did mark down BD on FF, just so I could see that we were getting pretty good coverage across the cycle, but I've not had chance to look at any patterns of SS yet... mainly because MIL had a small stroke today, so we got phone calls that made us panic and I've been up the hospital with her and DH all day.
Good job I've already ov'd/got AF or I think the stress of today would have delayed it!!
:wave: to all, I can't recall anything else I've missed, and I'm knackered so I think I'll head up to bed"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
I've just looked at my chart and I put ovulation pain as a ss for the only time on cd23, and on that same day I put irritability, and the day after I said sore boobs and skin break out, so looks like that was the day/1dpo
so looks like 16day LP. Also makes sense to me looking back 16 days from last cd1 on the previous chart. Maybe I am getting closer....? :think::T:o

morning all, hope you're having a good weekend
((hugs)) primmer and penguin for AF, hope you've had a few consolatory drinks.
Woo for AF, BigZ! :j
Spent all of yesterday hanging around as we had builders in doing some work in our kitchen. They're old friends of my dad's so spent most of the day chatting to them as they worked, and making cups of coffee...!
Off sailing in 15mins (better go and get dressed then I guess!), then got to clean the house this avo whilst DH is working. Then off to our friends' house this evening to watch filmsI think it's gonna be a struggle though as I've been falling asleep on the sofa by about 8.30pm every night recently...!
Have a good day everyone

Well i haven't a clue what my body is up t0 at the min. I'm CD 9 I think, although I didn't have a proper AF just very light brown spotting. Then yesterday I had what felt like strong ov pain and got a smiley face on the ov test, and again today. My body is acting very odd after mc! BD yesterday and today just in case but if I haven't had a proper AF in the last 6 weeks will that affect our chance this cycle? Confused.com!0

Ok, so I've been doing a bit of reading up on Page 1 and am a bit more used to some of these acronyms. But what is DTD, SS and FF?!
Went Bridesmaid dress shopping yesterday with my best friend who's getting married in April and I'm Bridesmaid for. She was quite clearly grumpy that we're trying and she's at risk of having a pregnant chief Bridesmaid. I tried to explain it's highly unlikely as this is month one off the pill but I can tell she's secretly grumpy!
Hope everyone has a nice sunday! We're off to SiL for lunch, which should be nice.

DTD - doing the dance - sex. SS - symptom spotting. FF - fertility friend - it's a website that you subscribe to that monitors your cycle using temperatures etc.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
