Trying for a Baby Part 7

bigzee, Hope your dogs OK. My two always seem to have lumps and bumps that come and go and the vet hasnt been worried about any of them. What breed is she? Sometimes certain breeds can havea predisposition towards warts/cysts etc.
And I wanted to say that is the lovliest thing ever - what your DH said. Awwww!
AFM, Im at my hote, waiting for donor to arrive. *taps fingers, nervously*they think it's a lypoma (fatty lump), more prominent cos she's also had to join the Zippy diet (she was pigging out on our other, smaller, fussier, dog's food and was a kilo overweight!) She's now lost that kilo and looking better for it, but made finding the lump easier. It's in an odd place though, they're usually on the belly cos of gravity, so she's going to be monitored, and they will check it again in a month... If it's no bigger they'll leave it be
As for the breed she's a border terrier cross, and the poor lad she's been depriving of dinner is a jack russell cross. Both are rescue dogs come good
Did you go on your own this time?
Sorry guys, I think there were newbies to welcome...? And I know there was a bfp from a dropper-inner, but I can't remember specifics to reply to, and I'm on my phone, so can't check back

Morning all,
Hope you are all ok. I'm feeling a bit better today, going to see Micky Flanagan last night really helped
I get sent emails from "what to expect" with articles about TTC. They sent me this one about what foods to give your man http://www.whattoexpect.com/preconception/fertility-foods-for-men.aspx?xid=nl_ExpectingtoExpectPlanningaPregnancy_20111025 (sorry I don't know how to do that thing where you can post a word instead of the whole link).
There's quite a few other articles here http://www.whattoexpect.com/preconception/landing-page.aspx most of it's common sense or things we talk about here but it maybe useful to someone (sorry if it's been posted before)

Thanks for those links emsbet - sounds like my sweet potato bake is just the thing for making "the boys" healthy. If anyone wants the recipe, I've put the link here. I've not tried the recipe yet, as I found I didn't have enough sweet potatoes in, but will let you know how my adaptation with the ricotta cheese turns out as soon as I've tried it.
emsbet if you want to know how to add a hyperlink to your text, what I do is copy the web address, highlight the text that I want the link to be attached to (link here in this case), then click on the button with the globe on in the toolbar and paste the web address into the box that comes up.
Glad to hear that zippydog is ok bigzippy.
Hugs to all who need or want them. No news here as in 2ww.

That recipe looks great. And I have all the ingredients in except for the cream, which I can easily pick up. I may try it tonight...
Glad your dog is ok bigzippy. We had a Kerry Blue terrier when I was a lot younger who had a nasty lump on his back, which the vet said was a cyst. It was most unattractive (both the lump and the dog's personality truth be told) He lived to a ripe old age, and had the lump for about the last 6 or 7 of those. When he finally succumbed to his final illness, the vet treated him at that point thought the lump was probably a sign of malignancy, but as he'd reached about 15 or 16, I don't think it impacted him much, and he certainly wasn't in any pain (he was a cussed old brute from puppyhood).

I use Good Food all the time, I think their website is the best cookery website out there! I really need to get back into cooking, I was too tired in the first few weeks of being pg then I felt too ill and couldn't face eating most things and then since we've had the mc I haven't had the heart to cook. I started yesterday making us a blue cheese and chorizo risotto yesterday which I wouldn't let DH have when I was pg
I love cooking and our kitchen is over run with cookery books (including one signed by Gino D'Campo who I met at the Shrewsbury flower show this summer - yum) and there are a load of Delicious magazines that have been given their own shelf in one of the spare bedrooms as there is no room in the kitchen

Sorry this is off-topic, but I did say I'd keep you updated. I've had a response to the email asking about why the salary for my new job had decreased and about the paragraph saying that they aren't obliged to offer me work etc. It's a good job I queried the salary, as it was a mistake (a new offer letter with the advertised salary will be sent out to me). I will be given 4-6 weeks' notice of the exam period, and it is "highly likely" that I will be offered work as they normally struggle to get external invigilators. So, it sounds like it will be ok after all. I've just got to wait for the new offer letter to come through the post - let's hope they don't send it 2nd class again, or won't get here for a few days.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
