Thanks for the post LMG. I didn't have any major problems coming off cerazette either, it was 6 weeks before I had my first period but they were regular after that. There are some pretty scary stories out there in internet land but I think these are the exception rather than the rule.
Here's to the next chapter !0 -
Hi everyone, my temp this morning has gone up to 98.17, i didn't sleep very well so don't know if that made a difference. I got about six hours before i took it. I am on day 33, and 14 days past ovulation. Last cycle, i got the temp drop 14 days past ovulation, this time it was 13 days past and on last cycle temp went up on 15 days past ovulation and then day after af came.Married 09/09/090

Just looking at this month's chart it looks like yesterday's temp was out of sync with the others but like you said you had a similar pattern last month  Have you tested today? If your temp is still high tomorrow I would test. Fingers crossed it does stay high

Feeling a bit less fed up this morning and hopefully the sickness won't come back when I take my tablets
Well I think I've hit the "anger" stage of the grieving process. I felt so angry last night at how unfair life is and how some people get to sail through and others seem to get sh*t thrown at them. I feel a bit better this morning so hopefully I can keep it under control.
Hope everyone has a nice day.
xx
ETA ((hugs)) for you too Tink
Hope you have a better day today Emsbet. With my most recent one, I found that I was very upset while still going through the physical stuff, then managed to get a lid on things and be quite stable and stoic for about three weeks, only to then fall apart dramatically for about a week last week. My BF who is a midwife says this is quite a normal pattern, as the adrenaline rush which comes after you finish bleeding keeps you on a high for a few weeks, then crashes which coincides with your hormones also plummeting with the result that you can feel very unlike yourself for up to 10 days. With me, it has definitely helped to try to keep busy to keep my mid off things as much as I can.
I'm another one who has succumbed to the rotten cold which is doing the rounds at the moment, which given the vitamins I am necking every day also seems unfair. I also only have one more day of sanity, as my DD breaks up for half term on Wednesday. My DS doesn't finish until Friday so there will be long faces in the morning when he has to go out at 8 am when she is still lounging in front of the TV in her pjs! To add insult to injury he goes back before she does too.
So I am on 6 or 7 dpo I think. We have builders in at the moment fitting a new bathroom for us, and I have told myself I am not to test until I can do so in the new bathroom, which means effectively not before Saturday at the earliest. Really I know I should wait until the following Wednesday and will try to do so but patience isn't my strong suit. Which is a bit mad, as I have never ever been pregnant when I have tested early and got a BFN and on the fairly few occasions in the past I have been able to wait until AF just about due, have always had BFPs.0 -
Thank you Nicki,
I think the fact that I ended up back in hospital has made it harder for me as it's taken longer to get over the physical side of things. The good news is my bleeding seems to have tailed off (touch wood- I said that at the end of last week and it was due to the problems I had not getting better) and I'm feeling a bit better physically. I had no pain so far today so that's an improvement.
You're right keeping busy is key. I've had enough of taking it easy now so I'm on a bit of a mission. My best friend is coming to stay today (in fact I should be getting ready not writing on here!). After she's gone tomorrow I'm going to start and blitz the house and do the things I've been meaning to do for ages. I'm going sort all our stuff put and put stuff on eBay. I'm also going to get the smallest bedroom painted (there are a lot of shelves in there that's great storage but the person who lived here before us thought black was a good colour in a box room!). This will be the nursery when we finally get our forever baby and I want it prepped so that when we get pg again we can just decorate it as a nursery instead of having to do all the sorting first.
I'm just going to try to remain positive while also allowing myself the times when I feel upset.
I hope you are feeling a bit better and that the good days outweigh the bad for you very soon.

I finally have my results - they got all the bad cells so I'm good to go :j. Just have to have 6 monthly checks for a while then onto yearly. Just need the bleeding to stop now
Hubby is at the hospital this morning getting his bits checked. He was circumcised 3 months ago and has had to wait this long for them to check that everything is ok. He's convinced that something is wrong but fingers crossed he gets the all clear. We've not been able to BD for 3 months now and it would be great for us both to get the all clear on the same day so that we can get back to TTC (well once my bleeding stops).0 -
Emsbet - glad you're feeling better today x x x0
