Wooohooo double bump club members! Congrats Twinkwings and Laura - happy and healthy 9 months to you both. I already have your babies life story plotted in my head, one boy one girl, born the same day, you all meet up as newborns but then they meet again in university bond over the shared birthday and end up together. Don't mind me, I have a very active imagination!
If no one else has asked for it already (or asks for it but has been trying longer) I'd love the conceiveplus Laura, haven't been able to justify buying it as its quite expensive I think.
Icky question, but for FF purposes would you count it as 'light flow' or 'spotting' if there is no need for a tampon/mooncup and no flow when you pee, but strong discolouration when you wipe?
Very excitedly planning our trip to NYC (8 days to go) for our first wedding anniversary. If anyone has been and has any must sees, let me know as we're there 7 days so lots of time to get everything in.
Hiya, no one has asked for it but I did offer it to Rebekah, so as long as she doesn't want it that would be fine. PM me your address
QQ, I wasn't sure if I had enough or not but the main reason I got it was because it says it enhances sperm survival and motility and promotes sperm adhesion to eggs - just in case!0 -
Spotting at 3DPO? It's a bit too early for implantation (unless you got the ov date wrong), so it could be a random spotting, rough BD, late ov spotting or perhaps low progesterone:o Another words it could be anything:p
Thanks QQ I'm guessing its totally normal then? I'll just hope it goes away (and stays away)
Ooh Kaemi that sounds like a great trip0 -

I've tried it few times, and sort of gave up, but I still have some, so may as well use them up:cool:0 -

Sorry I wasn't around to be there for the news - have been at A&E with MIL - we thought she'd had a mini stroke this morning, as her short term memory was in pieces, and she couldn't remember a whole chunk of this morning - we've just got home and doctor is keeping her in for observation until around 4.30pm as he thinks it could be transient global amnesia instead of a stroke as her coordination etc is fine. She may have to go in for a head scan as an outpatient. I'm off to google more about this amnesia. We called BIL (we hate them) so that they were aware and told them not to rush up to the hospital as she was fine now, and there were already 4 of us there, and of course when we went to get a sandwich, off they went to see her, which is why we came home. They will bring her home again - they're much better at smothering her than us!Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Thanks hon, if she wants it then no worries, I'll pm you my address now anyway in case she doesn't.
Thanks for the advice emsbet, I've got one ordered now. I was going to be really relaxed and just see where each day leads us, but I've found out its restaurant week while we're there, so I'd like to book some restaurants for while we're there - but it means knowing which area of the city we'll be in at what times. I've had a look at a few menus and I consider myself an adventurous chef and I'm used to eating out at nice places, but there are a lot of words on there I need to google to understand!0 -
Thanks QQ. Having read all of the symptoms myself it sounds spot on as to what she has - she had just been horse-riding so it could also have been the strenuous exercise that brought it on as she is 71. I'm sure she'll be fine, and it also said online that it isn't likely to recurr which is good.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Oh my goodness - congratulations laura and tinkwings! wow we are on such a roll! :j
kaemi - i LOVE LOVE LOVE NYC! Such a great city. I've been twice and my DH has been 7 times...!
I'd definitely recommend spending some time just wandering about - there's so much to see/do that isn't necessarily a big tourist attraction, just everyday life, IYSWIM.
There's an amazing pizza place under the Brooklyn Bridge, on the Brooklyn side - I think it's called Grimaldi's. Very basic and hectic, but the best pizza I've ever tasted. Go to FAO Schwarz (a huge toy store) and jump around on the giant piano from the film 'Big'. Sit in Central Park and watch the kiddies play softball. MOMA is great. Take a trip down to Coney Island, maybe, and have a Nathan's hot dog?Have a fancy cocktail at the Ritz, right down at the tip of Manhattan - go towards sunset and there's the most amazing view out over Liberty Island. Take the Stattan Island ferry (it's free!) - you get a brilliant view of the Statue of Liberty and of the Manhattan skyline. There's a brilliant Chinese restaurant in Chinatown called Shanghai Joe's that does these gorgeous crab dumplings. Greenwich Village is a really cool area to hang out in the evening - lots of nice bars and restaurants with jazz players etc. Go to Tiffany and look at expensive jewellery! Grand Central Terminal is very impressive to have a look at. If you like burgers, there's a slightly random but great little burger joint on the ground floor of the Parker Meridien hotel. Watch a baseball match at the new Yankees stadium - I don't have a clue about baseball but it was a lot of fun (although the old stadium was still there last time I went). Hire a rowing boat on the lake in Central Park.... Ok that's probably enough to get you started! (sorry to go on - I just heart new york!)
In terms of news from me on the TTC front, still no AF, still cramping, slight spotting when I wiped this morning but nothing to write home about. Still sore boobs. Getting v fed up now! That's a week of on-off spotting, cramping, etc.Didn't take my temperature this morning as was camping and only got about 2 hours sleep...if my temp is still up in the morning I will take ANOTHER hpt... that'll be 16 or 17DPO I think.
BB x
p.s. sorry to hear about your MIL, sexymouse, hope she recovers really soonx

You're welcome. There are so many places to ear. Most of them are not cheap though. When we were on honeymoon we spent over £1K mostly on food!
