Trying for a Baby Part 7

Thanks colli. It wasn't very spontaneous - we'd been engaged for 7 years, and I had always wanted to get married on the beach. The only problem we had, was that no-one could afford to come out with us, hence the hunt for witnesses. As it turned out, it was quite nice only having them, because it meant that we didn't have to worry about entertaining family and friends. Here are some pics if you're interested.0

The dress was made by my mum, so it was special to me.And it wasn't at all simple for her to make! :rotfl:
She did bloody good for making it!! It looks professional! Good on her!:D It's the sentiment that counts on a wedding day more then glitter beads and frilly bits. You will remember it forever.0 -
Awww sorry lol. The thing is when I was looking for dresses is there are so many styles and then you get to the beads and then there is glitter  And god knows what else! So something the style you have can look just as nice as all the other stuff. So what I mean is you don't need to have all the beads and glitter and frilly stuff lol. You can still look nice in a simple style

I know what you mean.It does have beading on the material. My poor mum had to take off every single one by the seams so that they wouldn't break her sewing machine! And she had to hand sew them on to each button!
There is a little more detail on the back: http://tinypic.com/r/14nd1yf/7
I love all the costume dramas like Pride and Prejudice etc and wanted a regency-style dress, but they don't do them in the shops, not that I went in any. I hate wedding dress shops! Those awful women! :rotfl:
Anyway, I found someone who made dresses, then my mum offered to do it.Very MSE, only thing about the wedding which was though! :rotfl:
