Tink, I hope your thyroid is either an easily fixed reason for the MCs, so you can get it sorted and carry your next bean very stickily (to the point of overdue...? :p), or nothing to do with it and they find a very inconsequential easily fixed reason instead :)

I hope so......it's that or my mummy thinks that I can't carry boys :o I don't mind being the house of PINK 3 girls would do me fine :) but I think DH might not feel the same :o:p;)

Hey all, hope everyone is OK. I haven't read back as had a bit of a tough week in RL.

We accepted an offer on our house on thursday and looks like we may have to move in 3 weeks time so very rushed and feeling a bit out of control. I hate it!

Also CD1 for me today. Had a little cry, first time I've felt so upset, think it's everything getting on top of me.

Have attempted to start packing today, just books and thigns and found my old pregnancy books, which probably didn't help either. Anyway enough feeling sorry for myself, SILs birthday today and going out for a meal, so i can have a guilt free drink (or 10, I really feel like drowning my sorrows).

I know only been trying since March but feels like a lot longer, at least my cycles are shortening a bit though, I'm down to 37 days this time, from 44 last time.

Congrats and hugs to all that need them and welcome newbies. Apologies for bringing the thread down, just can't talk to DH as he'll blame my hormones, which even though is probably right, won't make me feel any better

You're in good company with the CD1 :D Your cycles seem to be going in the right direction too which is something to be pleased about :). I'm not surprised you're finding it tough though, I HATE moving, still the sooner it happens the sooner it's over and you'll be fine. Have a fab night and if you're like me you'll probably feel much better tomorrow (unless you've got a stinking hangover), it's always CD1 that's the worst :o

My OH's got a stinking cold too tink, had a couple of days off work which is unusual. Think it's doing the rounds. Tuck yourself up nice and warm and have a rest (if you can with 2 girls running around!).

If in doubt bd twigglet! :D actually bd anyway as it's fun :D

    MrsHappy, have you tested?
    Snot bubbles:rotfl:
I've had that on occasions, but was never a pg symptom:o

Yup, and still a big stinky BFFN (extra F is for a naughty swear word!) I have no idea what is going on in there, lol, I'm going to keep myself busy tonight and keep my mind off it and get the housework done as I have my uni induction day tomorrow, exciting stuff :D I had a look at the uni credit transfer page today to transfer points from previous study and realised that I'm a lot more cleverer that I thought, lol, the last course I did is at level 8 on the SQA list and it only goes up to level 12 which is PHD, so am feeling quite chuffed ;)
Hope everyone is well and looking forward to the weekend, hugs to all who need or want one x :)

I love holidays, I've amended the list, sorry:o
Triangle, faint lines on OPKs doesn't really mean anything, as we always have some LH in us. You'll most definitely be having a conception moon:happyhear
jovichick, well done for resisting the urge to test:T
colli, perfect cycles are great, especially after mc:cool:
I didn't think anything of your post, I think there's nothing wrong with it:)
Nicki, testing at 7DPO?:naughty::D Fingers crossed though:)
Secretdebts, I know exactly what you mean:o I've done it few times:( Try to make your body as healthy as possible so you'll catch the eggy next cycle:o
2ba3c, do you have a temperature though? It doesn't look high enough for that? (((hugs)))

    Afternoon all,

I had to put myself back to bed after the school run for a 3 hour sleep. I'm officially sick :( I have sinusitis and I think this is what's been itching to come on for a few days - after sore throat... so maybe I didn't ovulate and my temp has shot up because I'm ill.

On the plus side, I used to suffer from this so badly, that I had an op and this is only the second time in 2 years since I've had it and although I feel like carp.... it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be and DW is working from home too, so I can flop on the couch and watch carp telly!

:( I've only had sinusitis once and it was agony :(. Hope you feel better soon x

Twigglet, you could be oving today, but CD9 is still early days. I'd continue BDing just in case you get another ewcm patch:o
    colli, I love Banana Republic:happyhear But I'm saving for a baby, so I'll resist:o
clearing out pockets, thank you for the fitness thread, I'll have a lookie later:)

Will you be moving into a lovely home?
Glad your cycle is shortening, there's nothing worse than waiting endlessly for ov (me now). Hope this cycle is it for you:)
MrsHappy, boo for BFFN, but well done for uni credit:T
  • Hello ladies, many thanks for all the congrats - I feel super special :o

Couldn't wait yesterday so I decided to ring DH at work around 10. He said "oh. that's good. I'll see you later" - ??? I was then working yesterday evening, didn't get home til 11, he seemed a small bit happier then but I'm guessing he's trying not to get too excited incase we have another mc. Bless him.

Rang sister. She screamed down the phone in excitement. She is already planning our joint maternity leave - never mind the fact that we live 300 miles away from each other! She rang again today suggesting we take our babies on holiday together next winter?? :rotfl:

Had a bit of a scare this morning - after doing a poo, a whole load of blood came out of my bum  but there was nothing coming from the front part. Sorry, TMI. It actually looked like a period, there were clots and everything. Had appointment with doctor an hour later, who tried telling me I wasn't pg. He was half way through the second test when the line started showing on the first test. He then got a nurse into the room and stuck his finger up my bum - said he couldn't see or feel anything, no sign of any blood. He reckons it must have been a once-off? Freaked me out.

I told him about my sister having various rounds of IVF. For the first two rounds, she got pg but then lost it within 2-3 days of getting a positive. Third time round, they put her on baby aspirin and she got a healthy baby out of it. Fourth time round, they are doing the exact same thing and all is looking well so far. When I was pg in April, I tested earlier that she would have, and mc'd 6 days later, so we were both pretty much identical in the amount of time we were pg before mc'ing. Despite this, the doctor was having none of it and told me I'd have to have another mc before prescribing anything for me. So I now have another 2 week wait on my hands , to see if it was a once-off or there is a recurring trend.

By the way, symptom spotting = sh*t stirring? :rotfl:

DH just in the door, can't wait to tell him another man had his finger up my bum today :D

Getting cramps yesterday...a bit dried up (tmi) and negative opks today - QQ, can you put me down as 1DPO today please?!! :T

Here's to the 2ww!! If all goes well I'll be testing on 5th October or thereabouts!

I am going on holiday for a week tomorrow so I shouldnt be thinking about it too much!
I wont be able to read/post much in the next week but will try and keep up to date when I can!
We are having a chilled out week here in the UK, booked ourselves a little cottage in the middle of nowhere so we can both relax. Dont even care if it rains - we're not in work and thats all that matters!! :)

I'm loving the post-it note suggestion by Lily - might take that one up when I get back to the office in a couple of weeks!

Good luck to everyone while I'm away - hope I come back to lots more BFP's!!! Fingers crossed!!

    :j:j:j:j

I just read the msn it might get up to 27C in the south and east next week, so hopefully your cottage is there somewhere and youll have a great time!

:rotfl:thank you :). Think I may be a bit "period nuts" today, feel free to ignore me. Good job I'm not planning on seeing anyone apart from oh over the weekend :rotfl:. Know what you mean about just hoping for the best, whatever else we always have hope! xx

On a nicer note don't know if anyone shops there but banana republic have an amazing sale on. I don't usually go in there as I had thought it's a bit overpriced but their stuff seems really nice quality and they had £60 trousers reduced to £20, £40 cardigans for £15, £40 blouses for £13 and so on. I was a good girl though and didn't buy anything as everything I fancied was quite similar to stuff I already had.

I love Banana Republic, I bought a load of stuff in there earlier this year in America as they had 40% off the entire store!! I wish shops over here would do that. Im skint now though and is it just the one in Regent Street thats over here? I dont work in London anymore so unfortunately cant just pop in anymore! But good for my wallet I guess.
