Thanks for the advice guys. The doctor had to go and check and then came back. He said that there has been some changes within the NHS.
I will check though to make sure.

Unless the changes happened within the last 6 days, he is talking out of his bottom :o

I am feeling really snappy of late. OH is getting the brunt (although he deserves about 95% of it). I've not had any cramps today which has been nice.

QQ - I know what you mean about my temp's looking different this month. They almost look normal!! :rotfl:

Leaopard - Good luck testing tomorrow or the day after! :j

Well it does make us crazy! Here is my latest insanity - I did a pregnancy test at CD6ish. Yes - CD6, not 6DPO! My boobs were still swollen and sensitive, and I was still bloated, so while I knew it wasn't possible, I couldn't help thinking of all those 'I had a period, but was pregnant' stories. BFN obviously... ESPECIALLY as I had a heavier period due to the aspirin.

Nothing like sitting in the bathroom staring a negative test on CD6 to make you feel a bit stupid and think you are losing your mind...

Haha yes not even a period will convince you when ttcing that you arent pg!

May as well remove me from the testing list. Still have blood streaked cm.

Off to the doctors in half hour to see what they can do.

I haven't got my dress yet for my wedding QQ. I am going to sort that out beginning of next year. Got a while to sort everything out.

Did you say before your wedding is in August? If so, I would start looking Nov/Dec time as it can take around 6 months for the order and then youve got fittings. I started looking in Jan/Feb, chose my dress I think in March and it was ready in late September and fitted by October.

Obviously it depends on the make you choose and they can rush it for you if you are getting married at a certain time, but I reckon there's no harm in looking earlier and its so fun trying them on!:)

    TMI alert

Ok so I am having some kind of weirdness. Normally when I have pre AF spotting it it doesnt make it as far as my knickers. Today I am having a watery brown flow that is lightly staining my pants but its not heavy enough or red enough to be considered CD1. Any ideas?

Id just call it spotting. Can be weird sometimes!

Sounds like he realised he was wrong and decided to make up an excuse so he didnt look like a prat.

I find it so scary that so many of us on here know more than doctors about this stuff. Especially when its the basics!!

I remember something about the control line being lighter and the other being quite dark ??

not 100% though, how did your pregnancy tests turn out ? (been lurking ;))

  • Lily I think its supposed to look like a peak, because lh and hcg are quite similar some way it could pick up either. The control line is supposed to be quite light too, something to do with changing hormone? Not sure if its just an urban ttc myth!
hope its a very big and fat positive for you soon :D
