QQ - Yea, i am sure. The only positive opk's I got were CD21 and CD23 so i am certain I didn't ov on CD20. I'm not even sure I actually ov'ed at all as my BBT was all over the place.
I'm wondering if there is a link between my usually low body temp (35.8 this morning!) and my difficulty in shifting weight. My post ov temps are around 36.5 give or take.....that's lower than some people pre-ov! Low body temp and slow metabolism go hand in hand right, and slow metabolism can mean difficulty is shifting weight? This is all just my theory by the way!
lilymay - my temps are similar to yours, 35.9ish before, around 36.3/4 after ov. Ive been having trouble shifting my weight too for the last year or so, been thinking maybe it is tied into my metabolism too - some weight training is in order methinks!
My acupuncturist recommended i wear socks and shoes instead of sandals to help keep myself warm for ttc purposes..
Nothing new to report @ 4dpo, am feeling too too normal! no symptoms at all:rotfl: can you SS no symptoms?
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

That's really interesting! I've always had problems with my weight - I'm not fat, I just have to be very very careful. A week of eating 'bad' foods and I am easily a stone heavier.
I am build like a bit of a tank - short and muscular - so I have never been a twig, but I put on quite a lot of weight when pregnant with DD (about 3 stone), and then got pregnant again so soon after she was born I hardly lost any of it before getting pregnant with DS. I'm currently about 3 stone heavier than I was pre-pregnancy and because I'm so short, the BMI scale isn't very forgiving!
Atleast now I can blame it on bad genes14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

I have low temps and I cant put on weight for trying. Mine was 35.85 this morning, and goes up to about 36.6 after ov. Its taken me 11 months to put on 4 pounds. I always feel the cold. Sometimes people say if you put on weight then youd feel warmer, but I think it would have to be a lot to build up that much 'insulation'!Don't think I'll get the toy, but will have a lookie on the book:p
Surely one doesn't need a toy for this:shocked:
DH seems to be enjoying himself:D, I was never into BDing, only want a baby:o
Congratulations!:j
Trust me, get a toy :rotfl:I agree that you don't *have* to have toys but they can help and I suggested it because if you're not used to having an orgasm on your own or if you feel a little funny about doing it, it's good for that 'detachment' aspect as you're not directly touching yourself IYKWIM.You can get some tiny ones too, it's not like I'm suggesting people go and buy ginormous rubber 'members'! :rotfl:
I think that this thread should come with a TMI warning! Newbies must think we're a right dirty bunch! :rotfl: Times like this I do kind of wish I was posting with an AE!

Hmm perhaps our temps arent as low as we think anyway, have a look at this, basically says that the average temp of 37c that you read about is not necessarily true.

Ok I'm calling it cd1 its proper red AF now and ive had a glass of wine with dinner this evening because I can. The little baby outfit I have bought for my sister is tormenting me, I've wrapped it up but I still know its there. I can't believe her baby will be here in a few days and there's no sign of one for me yet. It all feels hugely unfair. I had a little cry in the car park at work before driving home. DH is working tonight so I can't even get a cuddle and when I phoned my mum she was on her way out to take my sister to an antinatal group, and I even called my best friend but she said she was just about to get her 3 year old bathed and put to bed and could she call me back tomorrow because she was hoping for quality time with her OH.
I ignored teamlowe's advice and didnt book a doctors appointment, I wish I had taken the advice, I will call them tomorrow.
Thanks for the hugsIf at first you dont succeed, try, try again0 -

I wondered this too. I have low body temperature and i have to work so hard just to lose 1lb. Before my wedding, I dieted, ate healthily and worked out for more than an hour every day and my dress fitted the same as when I bought it.
Lilymay, I picture you being Chinese, but you're not are you? Why do I think that?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Evening all
sorry i have been quiet i have been trying to get my head round things as my oh is waiting on his results to see if he is into the third year of uni which we dont find out till the end of this month and i am already stressing and finding it difficult to relax as he is going to pay the last of the wedding off if he knows so yes big month this month and i am an impatient capricorn
if anyone would like to add me on fb https://www.facebook.com/nikkycarter and you get to see what i look like
On the orgasm front i used to be the same but i found talking about things with the oh helps and take things slow, if this still doesn't help and you want to try a toy i suggest the bullet from Ann summers get the mini bullet which you can both use during or the big one (not too big mind) means he can play with you as it helps to relieve stress and you get alot closer as a couple
I am so worried about the opks not showing up the lg surge but yet my dr said everything was ok do i need to go see her and ask her whats going on or do i just stopping them thinking that there not for me?
Congrats to those who are having that great news and hugs that are still being denied0 -
Hi ladies, its been a good long while since I posted here as you can see by my signature! However, I could do with a bit of advice as to how to handle a situation that has arisen.
I finally bit the bullet today and put sentimentality aside and cleared out the cupboards of all my old baby equipment/clothes etc and listed the stuff on freecycle. I have had a very long and emotional reply from a lady who is TTC and seems very low and desperate (but wanting ALL the baby stuff) even tho she's waiting for IVF. I have also had replies from people who actually have babies so I want to pass my things to them. But should I just ignore this email? If I'm polite and say I've given the things to ladies in immediate need is that rubbing her nose in it.
Some perspectives from a TTC angle please, I've kind of forgotten what it was like even tho I was on this thread myself for over a year.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0
