So, I need some advice - kind of a what would you do situation. You guys know I'm using progesterone cream in my lp. I have to test for pregnancy at 14dpo because if I'm pregnant, I have to keep using it or risk miscarriage if I stop suddenly. Anyway testing this morning and BFN. Now, we know I've been here before and it was nothing and maybe I just make pregnancy tests have lines, and I'm not overly excited that it might be something, but it does throw up something of a dilemma. I've used what should be my last dose of the progesterone for this month, so in light of this tlp, do I test again tomorrow morning and if it's another BFN stop the cream, or do I keep using it for a few days just in case? It's making me miserable this month and I really want to stop, have AF and get on with it, but a tiny little part of me is saying "what if?".

Does that make any sense?

what strength test are you using ? how concentrated was the sample - you say this evening so was it possibly stronger than the morning one ?

I was testing from 8dpo and getting tiny little positives that didnt turn into proper clear no squinting lines until 13/14dpo however i was using 10mui strength tests and lots of them, some came back as clear negs even at 12dpo and others were very clear pos - they were a bundle from eBay that were cheap as so i just kept peeing

can you pop out in the morning and try a 25miu test which is much less likely to give you a false line or pick up a chemical ?

Juzt using 10 miu internet cheapies which is all I have in the house, but surely I'd get a stronger line at 14dpo?

well so the theory goes but how have you logged your ovulation this month ? there are margins of error all round, say you could be only 12dpo - add a weak wee sample and that will give you a neg.

Im not trying to give you false hope, i just test LOTS from very early on and know how inaccurate those cheapies can be !

Using cm - opks just stress me out and temping doesn't work for me. I agree about how unreliable the ics are which is why I'm coming down on the side of negative. I used a FRER yesterday and that was a BFN. I did have another one but I dropped that in the loo (why do I only do this with the expensive tests)

Sigh. I wish my body would just do something normal for a change.

Code, have you done a test this morning?

Is it wrong that i'm starting to get a little bit hopeful? Longest LP, and joint longest cycle since December. I've not had any cramping since yesterday and it's all been in my belly rather than my back.
One thing, i've been having LOADS of cm for the last 3 or so days. Literally dripping out! It's been creamy and watery at the same time. Is that normal?

Eeek EWCM since CD 9 loads, first time since ttc - opk tho. Body ramping up for it tho (fingers crossed)

I did another test. BFN as I expected. I've stopped the treatment but i feel ok about that. AF will be here today or tomorrow.

I made a vow last Christmas that i would either have a baby or be pregnant by the next one. Obviously the baby thing is out and i'm starting to think that i wont be pregnant either. Sigh.

Lilymay, I'd tell you off for ssing but coming from me that'd be a tad hypocritical so....good luck. When is the witch due?

i was very naughty and got drunk with some of DHs family (the ones who like me) and their friends. had a good time, talked a lot of b*llocks but pretty sure nothing embarassing happened so good night all in all!
just woke up to a message from DH saying he was in town and will come back with breakfast food. mmmm he's a good husband x x

Hi ladies
Hope everyone is well. I'm due to ov anytime now but keep forgetting opk's - everytime I go to the loo I remember about 10seconds too late. Trying to cross my legs at the mo so I can test in a couple of hours. We've bd a few times this week, so fingers crossed. I'm only doing opk so I know the exact date for info, but am crossing my fingers that it doesn't matter anyway and that this might be the month Gonna be a loooong 2ww......
OH should have been off to USA this wkend, but all got changed and he could go in the next wk or so, which means he'd be away for ov next month - even more reason to keep fingers crossed now!!
