    Morning ladies (and gent)

Shouldn't have been celebrating CD1 - its a killer this month! Already gone thru the same amount of tampons I use in the whole period in 1 day and have had lots of nasty cramps :o I was told to expect the first 1 or 2 to be bad after the miscarriage tho - just was kind of hoping they wouldn't be :rotfl:

So I'm still grumpy - poor DH!! Altho I did have a mega early night last night so fingers crossed I will be less grumpy from now on :o

Am just waiting on results. The secretary says they have gone down again, but a nurse has to give me actual figures so am waiting for her to ring back. Have gotten myself worked up over these results - think its cos I am kind of expecting a nice drop this week and next week. I think its a bit early to crack out either wine or chocolate tho to help calm me down :rotfl:

QQ - Hope the blood test tomorrow goes ok and that the nurse is gentle with you! I once had a horrible nurse when I was little, about 9 years old and I passed out and then was sick. I remember telling my mum that I must have fallen asleep cos I'd never heard of fainting before that, lol! Hope work stresses go away soon. And I love the family history! I guess it is true sometimes that if you don't think about it then it happens then. Not that we want to hear the phrases 'relax and it will happen' or 'just stop trying' from anyone else - do we ladies?!?!:rotfl:

Hugs for CD1 Loulou - its never nice for it to happen when you want something so much, even if you do half expect it. Hopefully its the last time you will see AF this year tho...

Mogwai - Fingers crossed for you. I had a TLP at 11DPO, so you may be able to test tomorrow with FMU? It didn't become clear til 13 or 14DPO tho.

Blacksta - Hows your wife doing? Has she tested?

TeamLowe - I know your right about waiting etc - I can see the logical side perfectly. If we did TTC again sooner and it hapened again I would be soooooo cross with myself for not giving it the recommended amount of time. But I can't help thinking well, what if we wait and then it takes another 6+ months to catch - then we 'wasted' 4 months waiting to TTC. Lots of daft thoughts go round yr head tho don't they. Its such an emotional rollercoaster. 1 day I can be completely fine with waiting and then other days it seems the hardest thing in the world :o When is your HyCoSy booked in for?

LilyMay - Yayyy, glad you got some free stuff from them :j:j

Tealover - I don't get along with OPKs but just to keep the docs quiet I would do the cheap ones and then they can't say that you haven't tried everything. Clomid is meant to make ovulation longer and stronger as far as I know, so may boost your eggs chances. Has your OH been tested already?

TTC40 - Glad you are healing ok after your op. Sorry that you are leaving us, but hopefully you will come back to share news of a BFP with us really soon :A

Lemonmelon - It will be your turn soon for a forever baby. Some people have longer and more difficult journeys than others - but it makes the end result **so** much more special and rewarding. Big hugs for you while you are waiting for your turn tho :A

Oh btw - looks like I will be having to try out a mooncup thanks to you ladies raving about it :rotfl:

I bought a load of facepainting stuff yesterday. I already have some stuff and do parties every now and then, but I have 4 parties booked in in 2 weeks time - so have bought some better things (metallics, glitters, neons and shimmery/pearl ones). Am ever so excited for them coming! Have got some business cards ordered now too, so hoping to get some more work in from it. My DD is going to be a facepaint model for me so that I can get some photos taken of my work and put them on facebook. Am excited for it all arriving now :j:j

    Morning ladies and gent

We are on page 1000!! What a chatty lot :D

QQ - love hearing the stories of your family who didn't think they could conceive and then did! I agree with Abis, we don't want other people to go on about 'just relax and it will happen' but at the same time, I don't mind if it happens when I'm relaxed or stressed, I just want it to happen!!

LouLou - ((hugs)) for CD1. Hope next month will be your turn!

Abis - ((hugs)) for painful AF, doesn't sound like much fun at all :( The face painting sounds amazing though - post some pics!

DH wasn't in the mood for BD last night, so I went to bed grumpy. This month is not going well at all! I still haven't had a temp rise either, and am on CD20. If I wasn't temping I'd think I'd already OV'd going by CM and boobs getting a bit bigger! I've got CD21 blood tests on Friday (so technically CD22) and it will be interesting to get the results from those.

    Morning! :hello:

CD1 for me today. :( Have dosed myself up with paracetamol and anti-histimines too as am suffering quite badly with hay fever at the moment. Woke myself up at 6am sneezing!

DH made me laugh last night. There's a plastic cup in the bathroom which I peed in to dip a stick in at the weekend, and when I told him what it was in there for last night he said he'd got up the night before and had a drink of water in it! Luckily, I knew he was lying! :rotfl: He'd guessed what it was there for thankfully. :o

TTC40, sorry to see you leave the thread, good luck with everything. Please let us know when you have any news. :)

QQ, try not to worry too much about work, easier said than done though I know. Thanks for letting us know about your family's success stories, gives us all a little more hope.

Sending out (((hugs))) to anyone who needs one.

My mum just called me so that has cheered me up, plus just found out that a girl I used to work with got the job I showed her in the local paper as thought it would suit her. :j:D

Well, that's enough of my ramblings! Catch you later x

    ((hugs)) for CD1 LilyTheLegend :(

Lovely news about the girl who got the job you showed her - it's always really nice when you can help somebody and it works out :)

:rotfl:about the cup in the bathroom. We have similar conversations in our household...!

    Thanks mrsj! :)

A lot of people were made redundant after I left and one of my friends is still looking for a job so I'll have to look out for something for her now!

Well I've ordered some IC ov tests from amazon but I won't ov again before the next FS appt so probably no point! Oh well, at least I can tell them I have them, they maybe they'll think I've been using them as instructed for the last few months lol.

OH's SA is next Tuesday, getting nervous now!

Thanks abis! You just gave me the idea to get some facepaints, Im supposed to make my nephew a spiderman cake but have decided to do something a bit simpler instead - maybe if I make him look like spiderman he'll forgive me! lol. I was looking at snazaroo - apparently theyre certified child safe?

QQ - hope things go well tomorrow, I hate blood tests, but if the nurse is experiences its usually fine - FX u get a good 'un!

Good work with the IC tests :) Hope the SA goes ok on Tuesday. Sending ((hugs)) must be hard work going through all these tests, but I really hope it means you are getting one step closer to your baby :o

MrsJ - Will post some pics once my new stuff has arrived :j Am so giddy to try it out, lol! Such a big kid!! Awww, hugs for going to bed grumpy. I did too, mainly cos I was overtired tho. I went and sat and had tea on my own as I was in a little sulk with myself too. Fingers crossed for your bloodtests :A

Hugs for CD1 LilytheLegend. I have to have a jug in the bathoom now as my pee sample pot is >tiny<. I could never direct my wee into something so small :rotfl: So now I have a ruined cup and a ruined jug :rotfl: Makes it worse cos I now don't have any small measuring jugs for when I need them in the kitchen as I keep forgetting to buy one. Sounds like you should be getting a job as a recruitment consulatant instead :D

Tealover - Fingers crossed for OH's SA. You can always say you didn't get a clear line on the OPKs seeing as they are quite hard to use (well, they were for me. Am sure some people will find them easy)

Mogwai - The first load of facepaints I got were snazaroo (defo child safe) and they're really good. Have got about 12-15 different colours and you can blend them quite easily too. I used them for DD's parties and at school as I'm on the PTA and we sometimes do facepainting at events. I like doing it tho, so have started trying to advertise myself a little more. The new stuff thats coming is a little better hopefully, and will work well along side the other stuff I have. It gets quite adictive tho (or is that just me :rotfl:) cos now I think I need a nice beauty case to carry it to places. I just have a cardboard box at the mo which is not very professional :o Will end up spending all my earnings on new kit tho at this rate

Wish the nurse lady would ring back. She normally rings quite quickly, but she is busy on the wards. Am a bit tense cos I have some questions this week and have gotten myself worked up over the results for some reason...

Am having a new haircut tomorrow tho. I have brown hair, very straight and its sort of shoulder lenght at the mo. At the weekend my friend dyed it cherry coloured for me (noone has noticed yet tho apart from DH and DD!!) and tomorrow I am gonna have a radical cut and some really bright red streaks put in. So if noone notices come friday I will be mightily annoyed :rotfl: :rotfl:
