Congratulations tattoo!! Here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy xx.

Have just been to see OH's great niece who was 1 today. She's absolutely adorable and a delight to spend time with so I was happy to go, just a bit sad that everyone else seems to have their baby and it feels like mine will never get here.

I remember getting really upset once after I'd seen her mum when she was pg as it felt like we'd been trying for ages. That must have been at least 18 months ago and still nothing.

I'm really starting to think we're just too old for this to happen.

    big big ((hugs)) xx

Just wanted to share some lovely news which I heard today - about a couple who I used to go to the same church as. They moved away and we haven't kept in touch but keep up with their news via some mutual friends, and occasionally see them if they are visiting. Anyway, they have been ttc for over four years and she is now 25 weeks pregnant with their first child after their 3rd IVF :j I am so happy for them :)

Here's to us all getting our forever babies

i tried opk's 3 months back and my oh and i worked out the day we should test wrong we didnt get a smiley face at all and we used up all the sticks and couldnt find a place locally that sold them so gave them up. OH has a thing about buying from a shop for these things instead of online

will start with an alarm to make sure i get temps that are consistant, i did my temp this morning at 10:20am so will keep it at that.
I thought you had to have been in bed for 3 hrs though before you test, i get up in the night for wees else i get the feeling of cystitus and then i have to drink bottles and bottles of water to get her back to normal

    thank you for the help

If you want to get accurate temps they should be within an hour, so unless you get up at 10.20 am on a weekday which seems unlikely- unless of course I guess you have a job with late shifts? so if you want accurate temps at the weekend youll need to set your alarm for the same time as when you get up for work in the week.

And FF will put the accurate temps in with a blue dot and white for inaccurate.

Opks from the net are fine :)

Whilst its recommended you get three hours sleep before temping its much more important to take your temp at the same time of day each day. If your suffering with broken sleep anyway it's definitely better to set a time to temp rather than try to catch the 3 hours sleep as time of day and environment affect your temps. For example if you took the temp of a room at 7am then took the temp of the room again at 12 after the sun had been shining in for hours the room would be warmer and that would affect your body temp.
