Feeble -Amen to that. I completely understand how you feel.
Lowe - Good luck for the temps
I had some EWCM this morning, and my temp has dropped (although i was up at 2:45am for work.....! Just waiting to do my CBFM test at 7:30 to see what it says (low again probably!) edit: its says high!!! So excited! Ha!
I had the news on in work and just heard about those triplets in NZ who have died after a fire at their nursery. I literally burst into tears and my colleagues wondered what was wrong with me. That is just so desperately sad. I'm welling up just typing this14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
Welcome back Lily_The_Legend  I hope you don't have to hang around long, hopefully it was all the stress of your old job that was holding things up. Enjoy writing your book whilst you have the free time!
I think that this lunaception is working, yesterday I had EWCM and I did an OPK this morning (I know you're not supposed to use FMU but I forgot to do it yesterday afternoon so thought I'd give it a go!) and got a faint positive, which I read as positive as I've never had a proper dark line on one. I'm shocked! OH was too tired/hot/hayfevery last night to BD (I was too TBH so can't blame it all on him) so will try for a lunchtuime quickie. In a funny way I'm not 100% bothered about catching this cycle as I'm really intrigued to find out what length my cycle will be with this little experiment.
That's very sad isn't it?!
I haven't seen/heard the news this morning Lilymay, that's very sad thoughOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

What is lunaception?0 -
What is lunaception?
Aida got us into it:Research supports the suggestion that a bright 100W bedside lamp used on 5 consecutive nights prior to ovulation can cause reduction of long menstrual cycles.
So I've googled that and discoverd that the whole concept has a name: LUNACEPTION. Basiclly you balance your hormones with the help of the light. They say that lunaception can help regulating the menstrual cycle (because of the melationin production). Has anyone heard anything about this?
I just read a blog and this lady was sleeping with an eye mask from day 1 to day 13, then starting with day 14, she was sleeping without the eye mask for 3 days (she had a clock that was lighting the room) and then she was sleeping with an eye mask for the rest of the cycle (after these 3 days). She was ovulating in those 3 days, apparently :undecided.
PS: My hubby saw me reading about the lunaception and he said: Oh! Farmers do the same with their hens to lay more eggs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. He made me laugh.I've started introducing light on day 14 and 4 days later I had a positive OPK. You should try to be expose to light for at least 30 minutes in the morning + if the weather is nice, try to stay outdoors as much as possible.
I introduced light after 14 days and 4/5 days later I noticed EWCM. Considering I normally OV around CD35 it's safe to say I'm converted!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
This morning my wife's bbt was the following
Under the tongue - 36.54
Under the armpit - 36.21
If i add the 36.54 to FF chart it alters the chart and brings the fertile and Ovulation dates forward by a week where as if you use 36.21 chart remains the same.
Please note this is our first attempt charting bbt and dont really know for certain when she actually OV.

Ooooh exciting Becca! :j
A lady just brought her 3 week old into work and I got a nice long cuddle... ahhh I want one! I even managed to calm her down as she was getting geared up for a good scream but then got really quiet and sleepy because I'm just that good at cuddles!Of course everyone in the office saw and started saying, 'Oh it'll be you next.', 'You'll have to get a crack on' etc... I want to say, 'You're telling me! I wanted to be 6 months pregnant by now!!!'

Congrats to a nice set of BFP's! Next month hopefully the rest of us will join.
QQ - not sure what stage you are at, but hope all is going well after last Friday.
sorry to read and run, but just requesting that I be changed to 1DPO. OPK negative on Sunday, but EWCM yesterday and senstive b00bs etc, and its the right day, so I think it's time. Slightly 'dutiful' BD last night, but at least I am in the game again for this month at least I think!0 -
congrats for the BFP! they are like buses!:j

You need to keep temping in the same place otherwise your readings won't be accurate. I think you said your wife had been using her armpit so until next cycle, you need to keep using there.
I know how tempting it is to use figures that make your chart look ideal, but remember it won't change what your body is actually doing.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130
