blacksta - the temp will change, that's normal. You should go with the first one taken - ideally as soon as possible after waking and before your wife has moved much.

Blacksta - The temp will change you should only take the temperature once and always asap as waking before doing anything else. I never used the armpit method I always used under my tongue. My temps dropped gradually after ov and convinced I wouldn't be pg I stopped temping around 8 or 9 dpo. I'm 21 weeks pregnant now so don't be worried about temps going down.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Very quickly -Is CD5 to early to be starting ov? My temp has taken a massive dive today (although its the first one thats been similar to my early post-ov temps from last month). I'm so confused!

I think ov could occur on CD5. However, if it's just one temp so far you can't really tell. Have you had any other ov signs (EWCM, etc)?

Sometimes I get random low temps for no apparent reason. I blame OH for stealing the duvet lol.

A little bit of Creamy and EWCM. My period was about 48 hours long this time which is very strange.

My temps were all over the place last cycle too so perhaps I'm just an irregular person :rotfl:

Thanks for your reply lovely xx

Mog- FF didn't know what to do with my crosshairs last month and it ended up putting them on at 3 different points throughout my cycle. I had EWCM pretty much all the fricking way through last time so my body was not helping me work things out! Hopefully T2D's CBFM will helps me plan a bit better.

lilymay - I didnt know FF could do that! Talk about confusing.. i think i just have to accept a weird cycle as my temp was pretty much the same today. All the EWCM for 6 days is weird though I guess maybe the acupuncture or EPO is to blame. I hope Ive ovulated though as we made a huge effort with the BD this month :S Anyhoo, on with the 2ww!

mogwai - hope your temp was up this morning.

Temp still the same, quite low for post-ov but im hoping it stays around that number, confirming that I have ov-ed.

((hugs)) for those with horrible bosses, Ive always had nice ones apart from when I was a teen working at a clothes shop - my boss was this horrible snarky woman who had it in for me, I used to go out of my way to dodge her and that only used to !!!! her off even more! lol

Im not working atm and missing the work environment a bit, all the drama and politics of work - sighh :rotfl:

but then the potential replacements really aren't much better. .

Could this be an opportunity for you if the others are pants!

QQ - nearly Friday - so hope it goes well for you. Thanks for the advice about PMA. Massive day at work today to distract me and I've booked a lovely massage on Friday so if AF does arrive (due Thurs/Fri) I've got something nice to do that won't ruin my ww.

    everybody

Just popping in briefly to send ((hugs)) to all those in need and to wish very best of luck to QQ for Friday! I am off to the US for a business trip tomorrow and back at the end of next week, so will catch up then on everybody's news! I will probably ovulate while I'm away :( but still keeping everything crossed (ovaries included?!) that I will OV when I get back so that we can have a go this cycle, even though we are technically not trying :o

Hope to come back to a load of BFPs!

QQ good luck with the blood tests on friday - are you taking any supplements or are you not allowed to?

mrsj maybe the stress of travelling etc will delay your ovulation, FX

ps QQ can you put me as 5DPO - FF seems to be sticking to that ov date..
