Evening ladies - hope you've all had a nice bank holiday.

Zcrat - we have been decorating too, feels like lots of effort and slow progress (errrr... a bit like ttc???!!!)

Could I ask somebody to have a look at my ff chart? I'm wondering if I ov'd on CD 25, not CD 23 as ff thinks. Still no AF and bfn again this morning. I hate this limbo, thought temping would mean I knew where I was with each cycle, but apparently not :( CD38 now... am sure I'm not pregnant and just wish AF would show up so I can get on with the next cycle.

For ladies with longer cycles - is it anything to worry about?

    Thanks in advance for replies!

Hi ladies not been on for a few days. Congrats welshgirl! zcrat - hope your OH isn't too tired from all that decorating - mine would be the same though!!

I've started charting this month and also using some cheapy ov sticks. As this is my first cycle off the pill I am fully expecting not to ovulate or for anything to happen at all really but I obviously would like to know if it does. Anyway enough rambling, I've used a few ov sticks and never had a second line, this morning there was definitely a second line on there although my packet says if its not as dark as or darker than the control it's still a negative. Does this mean anything at all that there is now a line there albeit still negative? It's all so confusing!!

Hi becca - the test line has to be as dark as or darker than the control. The reason you get a lighter line sometimes is that the LH (hormone which the test checks for) is always present to some extent, so it picks it up. What you are looking for is the LH surge which indicates that you will ovulate within the next 12-36 hours. Make sure your wee is concentrated (try not to drink anything for the two hours before you test) and that you don't use first wee of the day.

Hi Sequeena, yes i remember you, you had quite a dramatic pregnancy if i remember right? how is your wee boy coming on.
i would love to try just now, but ive still got another 1/2 stone to lose to get me to pre pregnancy weight, but would like to lose another 2 stone as well.
Also not sure how regular AF is as ive just had my first one.

He's doing well now thanks :) He had a rough start too and has ongoing problems but we take everything one day at a time.

I still have a bit of weight to lose but with my record off TTC and needing an op on my bladder we thought we'd best get started :rotfl:

I was one of those who got their periods 5 weeks after birth even though I was bf  How is your little man?

QQ I'm CD4 now due to test June 6th x

Just a quick :money: tip. You can get free folic acid at Asda - you just have to go to the pharmacy and ask for it. The lady didn't even ask if I was pregnant or ttc.

Warning... you also get given a bag for life with the following in it:

    - A pack of baby wipes
    - A newborn nappy
    - A book about 'healthy pregnancy'
    - Info. about the Asda baby club.

Hopefully all of that will come in handy later, but I was feeling very hormonal on Saturday morning when I went to get the free folic acid and nearly cried when the lady handed it to me!!!

Anyway, hope that will be helpful for some of you - every little bit of money saving helps, eh? :)

If my cycles are only 29 days, should I be ov'ing on CD20/CD21?

You usually ov 14 days before AF.

My cycles are 27-29 days & I ov around CD 13-16.

If needed, you might want to consider a pack of digi OPK next month as it's clearer as a smiley face tells you if you are about to ov.

Hi everyone, can you take me off the list please QQ.

I amazingly got a job i totally didn't expect at the weekend and after a long chat with hubby we have decided it'll just be the 4 of us. It's amazing to have the opportunity to get back into a job i adored but had to leave after having my son almost 6 years ago and never expected it to happen. I am a little sad we won't be having another but know it's the best thing for us as a family.

I wish all of you the love and luck in the world, fingers crossed you all get your BFP's very soon. Thank you all so much for your support.xx
