ME!!!!!:EasterBun
and me!!!! need chocolate, and I have none in the house. All I have is a very dry choccy cake from last week, may put it in the oven to warm up and see if that works.
OH has just gone to do my shift at work as I just can't face it tonight. No idea what on earth is wrong with me at the moment, hasn't helped that had a short AF (nothing wrong with that) but it went for over a day and has very kindly come back complete with full cramps.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Hi, would someone mind taking a look at my FF chart? I am very confused about when I ovulated. I am also using Clearblue Fertility Monitor:
I thought I ovulated on Wednesday 21st March but my temperatures were up and down for a few days after. My CM also dried up after 21st, which would indicate that I did actually ovulated then along with my OPK & CBFM but how does that explain the yo yo temps?
Today is 13DPO and I have absolutely none of my usual AF symptoms, I normally have cramps, backache & tender boobs 5-7 days before but this month nothing. Did a test this morning and negative0 -
You possibly didn't ovulate at all this month athina. OPKs and CBFM just register that you have had an LH surge which is the hormone which the body needs to send to trigger an egg to be released from the ovary. But you can surge without releasing an egg some months, or surge more than once and only release an egg on the last one. I can't see anywhere on your chart a thermal shift, which is what leads me to suspect this was an anovulatory cycle. Have you tried using the compare with charts like mine function of FF and their detailed analysis function? What do they say is likely?0

Congratulations on your smiley! You could ovulate anytime between this evening and Thursday but most likely to be tonight or tomorrow. The SMEP rule is to BD the night you get the positive, the next two nights, have a night off, and one last BD for luck. That should ensure there are enough live guys in place when the egg releases.
Not sure why you want to test again now you have the smiley though? Knowing when the test has turned negative again gives you no extra information of any kind. It isn't linked to when you will ovulate and doesn't confirm that you have. Its up to you whether to do it, but the digital tests are quite expensive and it will just be a waste of one, so in your shoes, I wouldn't bother.
Thanks Nikki. I want to test again to make sure it wasn't a false positive I guess. I can't believe that something I have only used once has worked, so it makes me want to see it give a negative, so I can trust the positive. I know how insane that sounds!Lilymay, congratulations on your job!!!:T
When you get pg, you can say it was an accident and deal with it then:D
Time2deal, yay for the smiley face:j
You could ov yesterday, today or tomorrow:)
Lilymay - its hard but you can't put your life on hold while ttc. Take the opportunities you see, and if you go on Mat leave, they will live with it. I believe that new mums make excellent employees - once you go back you know you will struggle to get another job with flexibility and so are more loyal to your new employer.
Plus mums tend to make extra effort to prove they can do the job - or at least they do in my world!
QQ - that's what I want to hear! We BD this morning around 4am, and probably won't get to tonight, so I am hoping this morning is enough. Had EWCM once I checked, and cervix was soft - although I can't yet work out what is low or high. You would not believe how excited I am about this. There is a definite possibility that I need to get out more
genuine lol! But I know the feeling!!0 -
Wow this thread moves super fast! Think I've spent most the evening reading back. Am liking the tempting fate idea, was considering the VIP membership on ff. Mind you I thought that the last cycle when I ordered 50 OPK's.
Although I've said it seems we're just starting with ttc, the journey actually started in Oct 2010 when I came off the pill, taking the relaxed "if it happens it happens" attitude which clearly got us nowhere just lots of gynae problems! We've had some fertility tests and get the results middle of the month but have not really been thinking of that just concentrating on trying to eat healthy / exercise and really try to know my cycles and my body.
There are so many emotions / feelings / comments on here that I feel, yep that's me too, it's nice to feel I'm not alone. Although friends and family are supportive it just seems that they really don't get it!
So thanks for sharing everyone and even though I've only just started posting I've learned a lot from you all!0 -
QQ – I have everything crossed that one of your eggs makes it and you get your forever baby.
Welcome to all the newbies, I hope your stay here is short and sweet
Massive congratulations Colli :j, I hope you have a healthy and happy 9 months
((Hugs)) for those on CD1
Kitten pie – I am so glad things are going well for you
Lilymay1 – congratulations on the new job. I had the option to apply for redundancy last month and turned it down primarily so I could get a good maternity package, fingers crossed it happens for us both soon.
Tinkwings – the plants are a lovely idea
Tattooo – hope you have a lovely day off
I have been missing for a couple of days again as my MIL was rushed into hospital on Thursday with a suspected heart attack. It wasn’t but she really isn’t well. My DH and I spent 9 hours at the hospital on Thursday with her while they admitted her and she is still undergoing tests.
I have absolutely no idea what AF is playing at this month, I normally seem to alternate between a long cycle and a more normal cycle length and this month should have been the normal one. I am now at CD37 and have tested 4 times with IC and each time it has been a BFN:( . My DH isn’t well at the moment either and is waiting for test results so BDing has been minimal so I don't hold out much hope.
My car share is pregnant and I am finding it pretty tough to listen to her stories, it just hurts so much. I naively assumed that once we started to ttc it would happen quite quickly and she got pregnant just after the time we started trying so I can’t help looking at her bump and thinking that should be me.
The girl who bumped my car last week is starting to play silly games and it is winding me up! I know it is only April but I think I have had enough of 2012 and feel like going into hibernation until 2013 arrives.
Sorry for the long post, I’ll try to keep up to date better in the future.

Those FF charts look complicated! I'm going to give it a few months before temping.
Definitely blonde - day off was so so, went to weightwatchers this morning, got my 10% keyring, done a little bit of house work and went to the gym, nothing too exciting lol
Everyone around me seems to be pregnant, my SIL had her second in October, a friend has just announced she's expecting and about 10 Facebook friends are pregnant, it feels like everyone is pregnant and I'm not. This is our first month TTC and I'm so impatient, I feel so sorry for all those who have been trying for years, all the heartbreak month after month and we all want it so bad0 -
Hello
Just popping by to say thank you everyone for the other night when I was feeling so utterly rubbish - for the big hugs and well wishes.
I honestly don't know what happened, my hormones were crazy or something, I don't remember ever feeling that low? Anyway - I'm feeling much better and I didn't completely push DW away, thank goodness!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -

Really? If you ignore Saturdays & Sundays before ovulation and the two dips after ovulation, I can see quite a clear thermal shift. I don't have the "charts like mine" function as I am not a premium user. AF is due tomorrow and I am ALWAYS on time so I guess we'll see, it's just the lack of cramps, lack of back ache and non tender boobs which I always get without fail every month 5-7 days before AF which threw me off this month.0 -
Evening everyone, just having a catch up.
Massive congratulations to Colli. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Huge hugs to all those who the witch got and anyone else who wants one.
Not much to report from me, I am in the back end of my 2WW - testing Monday if I get that far - AF due Thursday if I am sticking with 26 day cycles.
I know I don't post much but I do read everyones posts. We are fast approaching our 1 year TTC and I am not overly convinced I am ovulating so may become more annoying soon as I will start OPK if I haven't had a BFP by June (I conceived my 2 children in June 02 and June 04 so I have it my head June is my month!)
Anyways enough from me for one night. xxxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000
