This link might help mogwai with info about the normal cost of sessions?

    http://www.bupa.co.uk/individuals/health-information/directory/a/acupuncture?tab=Common%20questions

£75 seems way over the odds, unless it was for the first diagnostic consultation with subsequent treatments being a lot less.

Thanks, I thought £75 was way pricey! This is the average quote for 1 hr sessions in my area. Though its quoted for an hour/session, but it seems that sessions usually last 30min or so? No options given for 30min session but I'll enquire..

I'll probably have to look a bit further out, I think £25 - £35 seems reasonable, Ill have a look at the link thanks Nicki!
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

    Good morning everyone:wave:

    TTC40, lovely mugs:happyhear
But due to my past, I'm going have to wait until the baby is actually born to get those:o
codemonkey, hangover feeling is classic morning sickness, but then again I never SS:whistle:
Definitely Blonde, when is AF due?

QQ, you're meant to be wagging your finger at me, not helping me SS!! :rotfl:

Still feeling rubbish. Had some crisps earlier and they made me feel sicker than before. I love crisps!!! Jumped in the shower last night to get ready for night out and not only did my shower gel still smell yucky (it smells burnt and I can still smell it on my skin!!) but the water hurt my nipples (am I allowed to say nipples?). I haven't actually thrown up at all, but then I'm not a puker - only puked 3 times that I can remember in my entire life but I feel so nauseous, dizzy and yesterday I slept on the sofa in the afternoon, then fell asleep around 10.30 on the sofa again when I got home.

BUT.....Caved and tested again today. BFN. And I've got AF cramps so not holding out much hope for anything other than me coming down with flu or something.

ETA: well, I say BFN. There was something very very light there, but after the weirdness a couple of weeks ago, I'm only accepting a definite line, not a "ooh I can kind of see something if I tip it this way" line.

I think my AF has finally gone, I'm CD9:shocked:
I think it must've been the DHEA I've been taking last cycle, great AF, but long:o

I will keep my fingers crossed for you codemonkey but for every story like this, there are two where it wasn't a BFP. I think the only way to stay sane is to do as you say and wait until the line is very clear. The digi tests are one of the least sensitive, so usually won't pick up a BFP unless it is also being picked up on a normal one without having to squint and dismantle the test (but will do so if there is a very faint but easily visible line).

DH left this morning on another trip to India. He has just phoned me to say his plane had to dump all its fuel and make an emergency landing in Warswaw! Apparently there was a problem with the water on board. He's being remarkably laid back about the whole thing, I think I'd be up the walls at the thought of having to get back on another plane to complete my journey. Will now worry about him until he gets back.

4dpo for me, and I did temp this morning even though I said I would stop when I got my crosshairs. Have been feeling really gassy yesterday and today and lots of acid indigestion today which is lovely! I know its far too early for any symptoms though so not reading anything into that other than glad OH is away for a few days so as not to have to endure me at my least attractive icon_smile.gif

:rotfl: complaining more than anything, means I have to travel further out for everything!

codemonkey so exciting :j keep positive (but realistic, lol), keep us posted the minute something (FX) happens!

I am starting to get the hang of temping now, Im ashamed to admit I didn't even know how to use a thermometer properly, I was just putting it on my tongue and waiting for the beep - apparently the best thing to do is stick it under a heat pocket , two of which are either side of the underside of your tongue. I don't remember the last time I had my temp taken (never, prob!) so good to learn something new..

Looking forward to finding out what my luteal phase is as it will hopefully take the guesswork out of ovulation if its consistent :T

Ive also bought 2 clearblue digi HPT that have the conception monitor thing, I figure it will be nice to see the word 'pregnant' in b&w when it does eventually happen

PS what does everyone plan to do with their +ve HPTs?? Will the digi ones keep the message forever or does it fade away??

The battery in the digi ones only last about 24 hours mogwai, then the screen will go blank. If you want to keep a momento, you will need to photograph it. The lines on a normal pregnancy test usually last though. I found mine from DS2 when cleaning out a drawer the other day, and he's 2 and a half now, so the test must be more than 3 years old, but still as dark as when I did it. (I hadn't intended to keep it for posterity :o just meant to keep it for reassurance until the end of that pregnancy but I forgot about it)

It was under my armpit when I was younger:o
My parents still do it that way. My mum used to do BBT temps, but don't ask where she used to temp...:lipsrseal

As Nicki said, the digi ones only last 24hrs:o
I used to keep all my +hpts in a resealable bag, but threw them all away when I mc'd:o
