Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

I had periody type cramps when I first got my BFP. It was one of my first symptoms Aida. Drinking won't have any affect on the baby at this point in the pregnancy as it is not being fed by the placenta at the moment, so the alcohol won't be passed from your bloodstream to the baby's. Hot baths also shouldn't have an affect, as the baby has it's own insulation system in the amniotic sac. Bleeding in early pregnancy, particularly around the time that AF is due, is very common. It can be implantation bleeding or breakthrough bleeding. I would definitely book a doctor's appointment so that it can put your mind at rest. Do a pregnancy test in the morning with first morning urine, as the urine will be more concentrated by then. I know it's easy to say, but try not to worry too much, as the stress won't be doing your blood pressure any good. It is advised that you don't take EPO in early pregnancy as it can cause small contractions, but hopefully the positive test means that it hasn't caused any harm. I would let your doctor know though, as I'm not medically trained, and just going by experience and what I've read online. Massive hugs being sent your way. xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Aida, try not to worry or panick.

Take a superdrug test or whatever you have in the morning. If thats +ve as well then make an appt with the docs.

Hundreds and thousands of women get pregnant by accident, and have been drinking and all sorts of other things until they realise they are pregnant. (some continue to drink, smoke, take drugs as well throughout their pregnancy and still have a healthy baby - altho why on earth they would risk it when they know is beyond me!)

If it is a +ve test, then the doctors will be able to advise further about the bleeding.

    Hope you are ok.

Aida, sorry you are so worried. If you hadn't had what you thought was AF, how pregnant would you be, based on your last AF? If you are 6weeks or more, your GP can refer you to the EPAU for a scan to see what is what.

A small amount of bleeding in early pregnancy can be OK, but it is concerning if there is pain, or if the bleeding is heavy or carries on for a long time. So always worth getting things checked out asap. I shall keep everything crossed for you, until you have definitive news one way or another.

Aida fingers crossed for you that everything is ok - I second the suggestion to get in touch with your GP for an appointment. Thinking of you xx

Aida, just in case it isn't obvious, you should be asking for a same day appointment tomorrow, not one of their routine ones in a few days time. It might take a few days to get a scan date through even if you can see the GP tomorrow as even the EPU's can have waiting lists. You might also be able to self refer, which is worth checking if you have trouble getting through to the GP. Unless you are soaking more than a pad an hour though, you don't need an out of hours visit or to go to A and E and there is probably no benefit in doing so.

Aida try not to worry hun, cramps are a sign of pregnancy too, its only if they are constant that it can be a bad thing. I believe the only reason hot baths are advised against is because the heat can make you more prone to fainting and dizzy spells, they shouldn't do the baby any harm. Also some ladies still exercise through pregnancy and are fine, in one of my mags a lady has been doing zumba which i didn't think you were meant to do but there you go.

The best thing you can do is rest tonight then do another test with fmu tomorrow and contact your gp if its positive so they can do bloods.

oh and at 14dpo ic was still very very faint line.

ETA brown blood is old blood, new blood would be bright red.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Don't know QQ but my DH asked me to do a pregnancy test and this is what I've got:

    c53aa32a1d0d5f6e554c_1.jpg

Picture was taken 5 mintute ago after 3 minutes of waiting. :( We both can see clearly the 2 lines :(.
So no much hope here as I took EPO since "day one"+ long hot baths, exercised like mad and other things....

So my question, what sell I do? The bleeding stopped now...

PS: How can I uplode this picture to a better resolution? If you click the picture you should see the pic better and you can then zoom it again.

PSP: Last time when I've tested there was just a line and NOTHING else but know I can see 2 lines :(

aida just wanted to say for what it is worth, try not to worry. If i were you i would as the others have suggested test with fmu tomorrow perhaps with a digi. Then if positive see you gp the same day, im pretty sure an epu early scan is pretty useless until 6.5-7 weeks until a heartbeat will be seen, so you need to in the mean time make sure the hcg is doubling as expected and the that will mean a blood test every couple of days.

Please see you gp if the test is positive in the morning and ask for these blood tests straight away at least then you can get the ball rolling and get the news quicker, please dont let it the days go by thinking of/worrying about what it could mean.

please take care of yourself and if bleeding gets bad contact/ go to a ande/epu out of hours service.
please let us know what happens, sending you the best.
