Birth control pills:o I know you are TTC, but that may reset your cycle. It's usually in tablet form, and you take it for a week or so.

But I'm no doctor, you have to ask him:o

I know it's frustrating secret debts, but try not to worry too much. I had something like a 78 day cycle, last cycle, and my Af lasted about 3 weeks. I think it's relatively normal, especially just coming off the birth control you've been on. So long as you are getting enough iron and fluid in, and it's not too excessive/painful, try not to stress about it. Try and think of it as your body having a good proper clear out in preparation for a bean... :o

Ibuprofen can affect OV? I had no idea!

It's scary isn't it, the things that you don't know until TTC . The effect is only temporary though so you should get back to normal when you've finished taking them but not good to take them all the time (or in pregnancy). Paracetamol is fine though so I just stick to that if I need it.

I know paracetamol is fine, I think lots of things are a bit of a grey area as they obviously don't want to test them out on pregnant women so say to avoid it to be safe as they don't really know 100%. I know when my cyst ruptured I had all kinds of painkillers including morphine & codine and as my mc hadn't been confirmed I was being treated as though I was still pg. My friend also had an awful chest infection and the dr told her that whilst taking some antibiotics and cold remedies in pregnancy wasn't ideal, being pretty ill would be more harmful long term. One of those for the dr's I think :)

Thanks euro... It's why I've not replied yet, if you hadn't sussed ;)

There's a website called safe fetus that tells you the risk category of each drug and why they have that rating, btw ladies. I still found the info from my doc to be more accurate, but it points you in the right direction at least.

I'm sooooooooo bored without my laptop! It's quite pathetic actually :o I have things I should/could be doing but I cba, basically

    It's a hard one.

Is it going to be repaired soon?

Is that you protecting yourself though?
Are there any other methods you would explore?

Yes, it got picked up by courier to go to the repair centre thing today. If they have the parts etc it should take 4-5 business days apparently, then ship it back to me. in theory it just needs a new hard drive, but I'm peed off cos I literally ordered the machine exactly a year to the day it died. And the timing could be better...smack in the middle of the 2ww! Let's hope it's return heralds the arrival of my bfp ;) just in time to do nursery research :p
