lemonmelon, I think it depends on how much deposit there were on BD. We only BD every 5 - 7 days, so it takes at least 24hrs for it to leave me:o

I on the other had always had vivid dreams, so it's not a symptom for me. In fact I dreamt colli getting pg last night:cool: It really felt real.

mrshappy, :rotfl: re peanuts. It is hard to keep TTC a secret isn't it? Especially from mum:D I think my mum has given up now, but I keep slipping in front for my sisters who knows everything:o

So I'm back, managed to stay away for 3 days!! It was nice in a way because I could mope whilst AF was here, but it also meant I was not thinking about TTC all the time.I'm all happy again :dance: so apologies for being grumpy on friday!! getting ready for lots of BDing and if it works great if not then that just means i have more time to save money for spoiling my little monster!

Hope everyone is ok and hugs to anyone who may need one :grouphug:

Mrshappy, I LOL-ed at what your mum said! I would have died of embarrassment talking about that with my mum, we get on great but really don't have THAT sort of relationship! :eek: What's the deal with peanuts, anyway?

oh, BTW, when I went to see my doc about TTC, she said about taking folic acid, which I said that I had been taking for ages(!) and she said don't drink too much. I told her that I hardly drink at all now, except when AF arrives, and she said not to worry about it too much. She said as long as you're not drinking to get drunk, the odd glass of wine here and there isn't going to make any difference, and especially not to worry about eating steak/pate/stilton etc etc until I actually know I am pg! She reckons that the "stress" of thinking about all that stuff, and the feeling of depriving myself, would be worse for me and TTC than eating/drinking those things. Of course, everything in moderation, and each to her own! I tend to eat whatever I like (trying to be healthy!) until ov, then am a bit more careful after ov.

lemonmelon, I think it normally takes me about 24 hours. It's completely gross and I hate it! :eek:

Grrrr on behalf of bigzippy and secretdebts re your computer issues. Hope they both get fixed soon. Secretdebts - there are companies (my BIL used to work for one) that can retrieve anything from your hard drive, they do work for the police e.g. searching !!!!!philes' computers for nasty stuff. Worth seeing if there's something like that in your area you can take your laptop to?

CD14 for me and no sign of ov yet, although I did have the slightest ghost of a line on an OPK yesterday. No ewcm yet though. Might venture out later to get some cough mixture with robutissin or whatever it is in it! My temps are a bit haywire as I have a cold Off work sick today, thought my colleagues wouldn't appreciate me spreading germs and snot all round the office! :rotfl:

Those of your that use the cheapy ov sticks, how do you record them on FF? Do you put a + only when you get a dark line, or when you have a faint line as well?

BB1984, I only record + when I get +OPK. But I record 50% there, or getting darker, almost there etc on the notes.

When getting cough syrup, buy one without decongestant as that drys up cm. (((Hugs))) for cold though, and don't take anything with decongestant for the cold either until ov:o

Didn't think of that re decongestant, sad because Beechams Powders Capsules are the only thing that make me feel vaguely human when I have a cold
