Ok, sorry for a selfish post that doesn't mention anybody else, but had to share, even though I know I may get a waggy finger from QQ. :o

I'm 14DPO and have had no spotting this cycle - would normally have had a couple of days by now, and would be full flow today. I had a crampy feeling at 6DPO, and since then I've had sore boobs, and my bras are definitely tighter. I'm going to try and wait until Friday to do a test, just in case AF has decided to sneak up on me this month with no warning, but can't help feeling a little bit excited. 42.gif109.gifsmiley-excited001.gif

Good luck! I'd hold out for a few days too - by Friday you can be almost sure! Very exciting.

I must admit I am feeling a bit (dare I say it) excited this month. I feel like I know for the first time when I ov'd, and bd at the right time... so all good signs. Hopefully ov was actually yesterday which I think it was as ewcm all gone yesterday by lunchtime, and a negative OPK last night.

QQ - I know a lighter line is a negative, but I did assume there may be a slight raise in LH before the surge just before ov.

I also want it to be yesterday, as no bd last night (couldn't get away with 3 nights in a row!) but did on Sunday and Monday night.

But, I have to be careful. I don't cope well with disappointment, so have to not get myself too excited. 2 weeks suddenly feels like a long time. Fingers crossed, but I must also try not to hope too much!

I only have poundland tests in at the moment, and they aren't as sensitive as some, so worried that as AF should have been due today, that the hormone levels may not be high enough to be detected yet. If I do test, I think it should be FMU, as that's what it recommends in the instructions, so you'll have to wait until tomorrow anyway I'm afraid ladies. At least if AF turns up in the middle of the night, we'll all know.

ETA Sorry to make you feel sad tinks - sending big hugs your way.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I thought poundland ones were 25 MIU ? same as clearblue ?

either way, you are being far too logical :rotfl: clearly much more sensible than me as I pee'd on anything i could from 8DPO :o

I like to ask your opinions....

My DH is due to be away for one week a month for the next 3 months unfortunately he is away the week before I should be OVing. So OV is likely to be on the day before he gets home each time (very annoying but are you with me so far?)

I bought a stack of IC OPK's should I be using them and charting while he is away to ensure that I am still OV when I think I am (remember AF was 4 days late this month - so I could be days out) or will it just be too hard to watch that little blue line and knowing that DH is away and there would be zero chance. Although if OV is later than I thought we would still have a chance and using the OPK would mean I knew rather than just guessing.

    Your thoughts?

Do you have to be apart? Could you go one time? Is it possible to 'visit' mid week. Clearly if he's away on a rig or half way round the world this may not be an option.

Even if you can't be together , I would still do the tests (and make sure the last thing he does before leaving the house is BD!):rotfl::rotfl:
