    Morning,

It's already Wednesday! I refuse to go to Boots for the 75% off sale, I do not need anything therefore not going. Very tempted though.

    Still no AF:cool:.

Kavics17- hoping you either had af or a bfp, its cr*p being in this limbo state, what bloods did you have done in your doctors, if you dont mind me asking, if you do just slap me :)

I feel like a defective woman that her body doesnt even know how to do the basics :( never been this late ever and im even worried now that my afs have stopped for forever, (sorry for being melodramatic) but it doesnt even feel as if my body is gearing up for an af.

I have no absoloute idea what to think or do other than just wait and see, but i dont really have much patience with all this.If this stays the same way with me next week I am going to have to go on monday to docs I think and my doctor is a bit useless and im not sure what to ask for really as this hasnt happened before. Got a feeling doc will just say go home and wait, but by then it will be over a week late.

Does anyone know what i should ask for should I just get a hormonal all blood test type thing done to check im all working ok hormonal wise to have an af?

I'm still in the limbo state, 11 days overdue today. I did a poundland cheapie yest, it was negative. Well, there was a faint line but I just imagined it, nothing on it really:o. I have no idea what is going on but i feel exactly like you: not knowing my body, etc. Fed up really and very very emotional.

I went to the dr in Dec as I felt really dizzy and just in general not well and asked for a blood test to be done. I had a MC in October and the dr said it was normal to feel like this for about 12 weeks but she did send me for the test. She also sent me for a smear which came back normal. The hospital than lost the blood result and it took them 3 weeks to find it, it just got back to my gp on Mon so going on Sat to see what is on it ( receptionist said dr had a look at it and no need to go in but frankly, I want to see it as I don't trust them- I mean the receptionist not the dr). I will ask about what is happening with AF.

Google is not my friend though, it said I might not get a positive till 7 weeks or it's ectopic or simply there is no explanation. Great. I am waiting for the amazon digi test, if it arrives I will do it and believe in it even if it's a negative.

Does anyone go regularly swimming? I just started and wanted to ask how long you normally swim. I did 35 min yest and on Sun and I feel really tired afterwards. I don't stop and am a strong swimmer. it just seems short and wondering whether I should push for another 10 min or so. I ordered a kickboard yest as I want to work on my legs:o. Also does anyone do aqua aerobics? There was a class yest but it seemed just a bit silly IYKWIM. I used to go to the gym 4-5 times a week but the past year I kept injuring myself (strained ligament, back problems, broken toe) so I thought swimming might be a better option especially if I fall pregnant.

Great news about the interview Claire, hope it goes well! :)

Cleofish, Orlando and the theme parks are great even if you do avoid the scary rides! There are loads of shows, plenty of tame rides (if you decide to go read the Brits Guide to Orlando, it scores every ride by 'thrill factor' so you know which ones to avoid! ;)) and when we were there we could have easily spent hours just looking at the detail in the surroundings. Disney is always worth a visit, there's a book called Hidden Mickeys which is a guide to all the mouse ears hidden around the parks where they shouldn't be, i.e. on walls, in windows etc. If you're not racing around to the rides it would be good to go on a mouse hunt! When we go back I want to do that! :) Harry Potter World is amazing too, OH and I are massive Potter Geeks and were blown away! :) Ahhhh I really want to go back! :D

Kavics, I haven't gone swimming for a while now but I could never manage more than 40 minutes in the pool, I'd be dragging myself out after that as I'd be exhausted! Aqua aerobics can be good if you get a good teacher and push yourself properly, you can always tell the people who are just kind of floating and jumping. I used to go on a morning when I worked late shifts and enjoyed it :)

Oh and how weird is it of people to announce on FB that they're TTC?!

    afternoon ladies
congrats on the BFP to Bargain Princess, and a big booo to those stuck in the bfn/no period limbo. i had it last month and it's not fun. i did find peace after doing a digi, although it did make me cry seeing the words 'not pregnant'

my good friend who was due a day before i was meant to be had her baby this morning by emergency c-section. so apparently i've won a tenner off DH for guessing it would be one (she's a rather big girl). he's buddy gorgeous though and she sent me a picture and now i'm even more broody than before!

pain from yesterday has gone away, although there is some cramping/itching on like each side if you get me and DH told me my nips were dark this morning so i've been have a quick check of them in the bathroom when i've gone like a madwoman!:rotfl:

DH is driving to around 350 miles away with his friend on saturday to look at a project car for him to do up, so he should be gone early morning and stay gone all day. sooo tempted to get a couple of tests for then, even though i'm only due Monday for AF and i have some ICs at home which i don't trust. and the reason i don't trust them? they keep being negative when i'm not pregnant :rotfl:
i never believe it and always think 'must be a dodgy batch' even though they've been right every time lol might get some cheap sticks cos i trust them more xx

oh also i think someone said something about swimming to help bring on their AF
i've heard the exact opposite, going in cold water stops her from arriving. certainly always worked for me and my sisters when we went on holiday and was due on, being in the pool would always delay it x x

  • Congratulations to bargain princess.

Sorry to all others who are still waiting.

I have convinced myself (this may be SSing) that I have appendicitus. I keep getting stabbing pains on my right hand side, only every few hours. I have read up on the symptoms so keeping an eye out for it getting worse.

TeamLowe - know what you mean about testing, think I will bring my date forward from Tuesday to Sunday just because not entirely sure when I am due so may as well. There is no way I tested with a £1 shop cheapy yesterday because I was bored....

The nice lady on the phone asked if I could put onto whichever forum I was on to ask people not to ring in & e-mail about it as they've got loads of people to ring so they're running a bit behind! She says try will definitely ring everyone who's applied & the phone calls & emails are slowing them down - so if you've applied please wait 3 weeks before worrying about them ignoring you!!

    Candycane, be careful!

Exercise always brought AF for me in the past, not this time though. And the water is pleasant, it's not cold but not warm either, i find it's just perfect for swimming.

Claire, good luck with the interview. I am not sure I would wait for 2 months, you might not fall pregnant straight away anyway.

Digi test arrived, and it's negative. I'm fine with that but where the hell AF is???
