I have had more good news today. No sure if you remember but work paid me my full wage rather than maternity pay, just heard that they are letting me keep it and next pay will be on maternity. that's an extra £1000 in bearcub fund

his not home from work yet but have asked him to leave early. could afford to take him out for dinner now

How will you tell him? Have you planned it?
Do you think you'll stay off until your next maternity kicks in or can you not think that far?

I've just stepped on the scales and lost my Christmas weight... since yesterday!!

I didn't think I was in the running this month. Thought I had missed OV but been feeling sick and crampy (figured I was coming down with something)

Haven't thought that far ahead for either. Worried about how he will react.

To clarify, I know that he will be happy as it is what we both want however just worried about the initial flash of worry/stress/sadness that may come before the happiness.
