Hello
I'm new to MSE but jumping right in... *new addiction forming*
My DS is about to be 18 months old (eeeek) and although i'm desperate for no2, I've decided to wait until I hit my weightloss target- this is so very tempting to ignore, especially as I am literally surrounding by friends who all seem preggo with their seconds, but I can't bear the thought of another huge pregnancy. 2.7 stone to go! Anyway, i'm hoping it'll take around six months to shift the weight before we can start ttc, so until then I thought it might be a good idea to start charting my periods. They are somewhat erratic and it was a bit amazing I fell pregnant the first time tbh.
So, I bought a basal temperature thingy and a little notepad and stuck them next to my bed and for the last 3 days have been taking my temp first thing. I'm hoping to spot a pattern to make it easier when the time comes. My question is.... I always tend to wake around 6ish and get up for a wee. Then I doze on and off till around 7/730 until I can't ignore K's shouts of "helloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mama!" anymore... so should I take my temp at the first wake up, before I go for a wee? Or the second 'proper' wake up of the day?
Thanks to anyone who can help me outxx

 alternateme. Welcome to the mad house. I might have tested again bfn :rotfl: letting myself down gently. Looking at last cycle I started heavyish spotting at 9dpo (tomorrow) so I'll be happy if I can get a longer lp & not start spotting until 11dpo. Feeling a bit crampy though so we'll see. Still no tantrums in Asda though. Feel relatively sane so hopefully AF is not rearing her head yet (I reserve the right to change this as I'm on hourly knicker watch at work) - staff think I've got cystitis.Prov1 £3392 - Aqua £1136 Vanquis £1500, HM £21, Barclays £680 Payday Loans - £1000 Mother - £770

What's up with MIL?Welcome AlternateMe  I hope your stay here is short and sweet.
Vesper, you should be able to get a prescription for your inhaler without an appointment. Also, if you can't get one from your doctor, for whatever reason, the chemist will usually sell you one at prescription cost. Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well
I haven't posted for a while (I got married end of Dec so it was all manic) and now I'm back, ready to TTC again...however I am around 9-11dpo I think so waiting to test. It was so manic last month with wedding and christmas that we weren't trying as such and I didn't do opk's or anything really, so who knows.
I have heard alot of people say that it happens when you stop trying so...maybe it's our month!
After a mc 2 yrs ago and a chemical 1 yr ago, plus gazillions of BFN's last year...I don't think I'd believe it if it were true anyway lol.
Hope no one minds me coming back, hugs to everyone and babydust a plenty!
