Yea I recon we will to
I also have heart shaped uterus. This is not the normal pear shape. The middle of the heart dips down into the uterus taking up space. This can cause big problems from lack of space for baby to grow meaning they cant turn round so will most likely breech ending in ceasarean. That is if we are lucky enough to go full term as in one side of the heart if near the top it has restricted growth and that part of the uterus may only expand so far resulting in premature delivery. But all that said the other end of the scale is difficulty getting pregnant/infertility and higher chance of miscarriage! So goes to show my perfect period chart meant nothing. Maybe why it took us a tad longer not that 5-6 months is a long time when they say up to 12. But it may have contributed a bit. So early days a lot can go wrong. So longs we hit 24+ weeks then babe has a higher chance of surviving. I am hoping at the scan they can tell me the extent of this heart shapped uterus if its only down a bit and not a long way then chances are as baby grows it will push the top up and we could be ok. So worrying times and roll on next week to get it over with.I am going to harrass them lol. I didnt even know about this until that 7 week scan when she said oh you have a funny shaped uterus. I should have asked more then but I was too worried about the bleeding bit. It wasn't til I hit google ... Any ways enough taking over! Hope to see you all soon on the other side!
I'm sure I remember reading in my mc book (written my a leading doctor who runs the mc clinic at St Mary's in London) that a bicornuate uterus often doesn't play that big a role in mc and pg problems. I'm sure it said she spoke to an 80 year old woman who had one and asked her if she had any problems re:mc, premature birth, low birth weight. She said she'd had something like 7/8 babies all delivered naturally, at full term and all over 9lbs. No one even knew her uterus was bicornuate until after she had a hysterectomy for something unrelated.
Good luck with your scan.Secretdebts wrote: »I'm up & on my 6th bag of crisps in an hour. Is that a symptom or an I just a greedy ****
I wouldn't tell you even if it wasDo you really want an answer, fat knack?
Confusingly, CD1 here! makes that cycle only 24 days! It makers those faint lines I was getting on the opks more relevant though, I guess, but very bizarre all the same :think:
((hugs)) for CD1. Maybe it's all the stress and not having time to worry about your cycle. Any more news on your MIL?

Morning all
Hugs BZ for CD1, must have been a shock if you weren't expecting it so soon!
CD30 for me, no sign of any spotting so far, which I normally get the whole day before AF arrives. Didn't bring my mooncup to work, so sod's law I'll come on this afternoon in a dramatic fashion!
Boobs still massive and sore, went to pilates last night, and we did lots of diamond press and cobra exercises (lying in stomach down position). Not good for me at the best of times, but last night it was really sore!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Meh, maybe *shrug* I've not got the brain space right now to be particularly upset, although I'm being kept guessing cos I've had nothing overnight. It was definitely significantly more than spotting though...
As for MIL, she has a lot of problems, which all impact on each other, as do the treatments... She has chronic renal failure (known for some time, but it's taken a nose dive atm, and she only has one kidney now) which is causing problems with the treatment options for the heart - they're nursing it along atm in the hope they'll be able to do an op on her heart. Also has other infections (including mrsa from last time she was in with the stroke *rolleyes*) and complications, so she's a complex case -doesn't do things by halves my MILshe had a better day yesterday though-alert, awake, blood transfusion seems to have helped and antibiotics kicked in, so we're mostly just waiting on this kidney for now...:o
Thanks for asking
Dh goes back in work tomorrowoff from 2nd job on saturday though, thankfully. I'll miss him though
I should really still be sleeping but this toothache's giving me gyp
How's your daughter doing tink?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Emsbet - are you feeling better today?
I'm ok, apart from my morning sore throat that I've had for a week now. Headache seems to have gone. I am armed with my stick of 4head todayThanks for asking.

Morning all!
Hugs for CD1 and tooth ache and everything else going on at home zippy.
Hugs for feeling ill emsbet and Primmer.
Fingers crossed littlemoog that AF doesn't show up.
Well Moon and I managed to DTD when he got home yesterday, and next round is on Friday. If I'm not working, we may manage to BD in the morning. Keeping fingers crossed that the timing has been ok, as that's 3 days before first peak (high day), on first peak, on second peak, and then 2 days after second peak on CBFM. We will try to keep going with every other day this month.
Also had a response yesterday from someone who is interested in buying a CBFM on gumtree, as I have a spare one to sell, so hopefully they'll get back to me soon.
Hugs for all who need or want them.

Morning everyone.
BZ - hugs for AF arriving early. i've been experiencing that the last couple of months. Cycle has gone from 28 days to 25, back to 28, down to 24, etc etc. No idea what's going on! Glad your MIL has had a better day despite all the complications.
Emsbet - glad headache is easing up. I get migraines so you have massive sympathies from me! Boo for the sore throat!
Primmer - hope your headache goes away soon too. Hugs!
Have probably missed loads out but I get distracted a lot and I'm also watching Big Bang Theory at the mo! Hee hee!
I got my OPKs yesterday so started using them. CD 12 today I think. I think there was a faint line last night so not sure. Based on previous times etc I should be due to ovulate soon. However have persuaded DH to try BDing every other day at the moment so we'll see what happens. Fingers crossed.0 -
morning,
Hugs BZ!
I was over emotional yest after OBEM, the program itself was good but than I just lost it completely and cried myself to sleep. I guess I didn't realize how much I actually want a baby... Oh, never mind, I'm ok this morning, at work and quite busy which is good. Especially today:).0 -
