Exciting times Elelyn. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm not sure I could wait that long.

This is only months 2 of us trying properly and I'm becoming scarily obsessed with getting pg. OH and I have always been a bit of a "weekend only" couple if you know what I mean - and only really once a week at that! I've been trying to instigate every 2 or 3 days and not once have I been sucessful Mon - Fri. Tiredness and stress do not do my OH any good! Cue me getting all worried about how will we ever conceive if we only BD at weekends! I try really hard to to talk to him too much about it as I know the extra pressure will kill the passion even more.

Hi zcrat41  I feel exactly the same as what you have just written! We are also a bit of a 'weekend only' couple and in month 2 of trying properly (I have a feeling AF is about to arrive any day now so it'll be our third cycle of trying this month). I am also scarily obsessed... keep trying to be relaxed but it's not really working! I definitely think not talking to OH too much about it is the way forward - that's one of the things I love about this forum, being able to talk to other people about it! Next cycle I am planning to try and make a real effort mid week at least once a week, and not just during OV, so that OH doesn't feel too pressured.

Hope you will get your BFP soon - and try to relax, I'm sure being stressed won't help (I should take some of my own advice...)

I fell asleep last night reading this section of MSE on my iPad, thank goodness it wasn't this thread though as I accidentally posted the thread I had been reading onto my Facebook  im getting a cold sweat just thinking about my mum and my friends seeing my posts on this thread

I had to go back and delete a couple of posts once I was worried DH might stumble across them.. (how I have no idea!!)... he would not be impressed if he knew I was chatting on about us ttc..!

My size has changed from being PG with dd2 I have gone from 34dd to 34e  DH knows that after we are done having babies that I will be next in line for a uplift & reduction :o

I saw a thread once on another forum where everyone was saying that 7/8DPO were the worst days in the 2ww. I think they are right. Before that you are still in BDing a few more times just in case and then you are hopeful that you have caught the eggy, and having a rest from the Bding ;). After about 9DPO you can see the light at the end of the tunnel and are getting nearer testing. Also you can occupy/torture yourself with ss-ing to make the time pass ;)

It reminds me of when DH and I first got together and we had to live apart in the week. The first few days weren't too bad but Wednesday and especially Thursday seemed the worst and those two days used to drag so much.

Thanks. We are the same to be honest. Do you use OPK's? My DH originally said he didn't want to know when OV was but the month I didn't bother with the OPK's we ended up not BDing at all. In the end he said he would rather know so that he could concentrate his efforts when he knew it was necessary.

One Born Every Minute is back on tonight. I love that show but I don't think I'm emotionally ready to watch it just yet so I've put it on series link :o If operation CC was successful then I'll watch it :)
    xx

I watched it the week before the boys were born, all the old episodes on 4OD (couldn't get out of bed so it passed the time) Have to say it was really helpful in knowing what to expect and how to use the gas and air. Think I will wait until I am past 31weeks next time to watch again :)

It did make me cry but purely because I was so scared that I was going to have to go through it. The reality is so much easier and I had two. :D

And whoever wants some of my bosom can have it - I loathe them being this big (would much rather have nice neat b-sting ones).

Totally agree, I am a 36JJ and even when I lose the excess weight they don't change so I always look big no matter what my size is.

I know it is better to wait a while but if I had a tlp there is no way I could wait days. I would be proud of myself for waiting for FMU. :p

My OH reads this thread but only because I leave it open and I am sometimes more honest with you guys than him so he likes to know where he stands :D

On the whole, I don't read his forum and he doesn't read mine but he is just happy that I share intimate details with people he doesn't know rather than all my friends and family which he has to spend time with :)

I'm ok. I'm trying to get in the mindset of waiting for AF rather than a BFP to limit the disappointment if we haven't caught :o
