learning_to_drive wrote:Hi, I've just got up, 14 hour sleep, see what I mean about the nights?
Taking over my life, still no news on another job either
I know its hard LTD, but you need to set a specific sleeping pattern and stick to it - 14 hours is too much (says she who got up at 11am). It'll get easier once your body gets used to it. Set a specific 8 or 9 hours to sleep, and get up when its over, even if you still feel tired.
Don't let it take over your life, keep fighting. You can do it x

Hi
I have overdone things big time - spending every moment cleaning and preparing this house for selling.
Had the agent round yesterday and it wore me out to the point of not being able to eat. I then found it hard to sleep and woke too early. I have having to drag myself around to do even basic jobs. I am being really grumpy with my family too.
I feel so tired and need some proper sleep to get better. I know I will get better but how do I unwind when I need to? I need to feel OK for viewings next week.
The place looks great, just needs a couple of small finishing touches and it will look great. Trouble is I feel it is sabataged by our teenage boy. My OH is being understanding and keeping clean. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

OH was actually very good, he stayed with me and just held me till I stopped crying, even though he was suppose to be in bed (He is working like 14 hour days at the moment). It was a bit strange getting reasurrance of him, he isn't normally there. I know what the trigger was for a lot of my feelings yesterday - talking to my sister. This is why I shouldn't answer the phone. I'm fine when I'm left on my own, just here by my self. Its when I've got to deal with other people that I can't cope. No more contact with Sis then, she can join the pile of other people that I completely ignore and pretend don't exsist. I hate the way the family hate me, but then again I can't blame them as I shut myself off completely.
Why should they hate you?An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Unwinding, thats a toughie - things like reading, walking and soaking in the tub are what they recommend, wether it'll work or not
Well done on getting everything sorted, things do just feel nicer when they are clean and tidy and everything is right.
Hope they don't muck it up xxStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Everybody (well 95% of people) because I am a bad person. Not part of the family. Everyone means well, but they just don't understand that I'm happier left alone in the dark,Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

I need a break but it's such hard work to organise.
You are not a bad person for wanting time out. If you could get it, would it help? How would you use the time?An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I want ALL my time to myself, I want to be alone all the time. Or maybe I just can't cope with people drifting in and out when it suits them?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

CCStar wrote:I think you would like a break, to get centred. My guess is you feel swept away by other people's needs and not considering your own. It is hard to do that when you live with someone. I could happily be on my own with a full fridge/freezer, my lappy, TV and reliable power and heat!
Things are alright at the moment really. OH is working 7 days a week and about 12-14 hours a day at the moment, and he is alright. I do hardly anything and it stresses me out. Thats what I like about the 'puter - I can switch off and pretend the rest of the world doesn't exsist. I'm hesitant to start cleaning jobs as when I do, I go a bit OTT with it. Makes the place tidy though. I'm just a bit fed up/worn out.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
