    Hi mac!:hello:
Apologies for taking so long to get back to you and the guys here.
How are you hun? I'm sorry you've felt so low. When you are severely bullied as a child, imho, people don't realise that it can have a huge impact on your adult life. :o
I'm sure if we voted on the thread, we may be surprised to see just how many of us have been through that - my hand's up anyway!;)
I'll look out a link I have somewhere for survivors of bullying just for general interest - it may have to be over the weekend though hun.

The way to overcome this is obviously to build our self-esteem, , (I'm not holding my breath!;) ), but also to realise that the bullies themselves were only children at the time and many go on to regret what they did. If only they knew, huh?! Of course that doesn't account for all of them. By the way angel, I tell myself that I'm not interesting enough for people to talk about me!:D ;)

It doesn't make our pain less - that's real! - but maybe it helps draw a line between what we cannot change and what we want to be.
I hope the day's not too far away when you can believe in yourself angel - and let others believe in you too.hug.gif
    Much Love,
    Tiff xxx

    Hiya - thats okay :D

Bullying is a huge problem though - i might be 21 but i still feel extremly indimidated with EVERYBODY (and i mean every1) as i dont know what they are thinking, etc......

At school, i hated it - got so bad at times i just broke down, and then got yelled at by teachers.... i could go on but it would ya 200 years to read it lol

Its hard to think "they dont know me" because you see them looking at ya, then talking - even a glance....

today, i was waiting in dr waiting room and this woman who was about 50 looked over at me and i just started to get extremly nervous! she was talking and i thot again.....

I dunno why, i just hate it - psycological or what ever, its horrible :(
Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.

I was upset Karrie but perhaps I was just being oversensitive, I don't know  as you said though, it really isn't worth worrying about.

Some people have no common sense at all :naughty:

course you were upset - you've been through a lot recently. There is no excuse for your boss to be so insensitive. Anyway, won't do you any good me getting me knickers in a knot over your boss. I am sure you know she was inconsiderate and rude without me telling you.

You sound better (to me) if that makes sense.

    :D

Oh I'm fine thanks. Can't wait for end of work tomorrow. This week seems have gone on and on.

It's pouring with rain here. I know we needed rain but it's not funny any more - it's been raining all day nearly.

Caught my son and his mate looking at "boobies" on the internet  Said they were playing a game. He thought mummy was daft and didn't know how to use the history button (he he). Boy was he shocked when I told him I knew what they had been looking at. Sooooo embarrassed. I thought it was funny (he was mortified that he'd been caught) but have told him if he is curious about womens bodies that he must be honest with me and we can deal with it. The internet is a great place for information but the pics that you get on the internet are not the pics he should be looking at (if you know what I mean) He was more worried that I'd tell his dad. Promised not to tell his dad. Blimey my boys been looking at "boobies" They grow up sooo fast. His mate still can't look me in the eye :D

He's 11. Bless him, thought he was going to pass out. All the girls at work were "Awww" and rolling about laughing when I told them. I know his dad would be fine about it but he begged me not to tell him.

Where do you guys get all your lovely fancy things saying Happy Birthday etc?

  • Karrie, just do a search on google images, for flashing happy birthday or something similar and Im sure a ton of sites will pop up!

RBK - Glad to hear you are better, perhaps this is your rock bottom, and the only way is up? I really would consider taking 2-3 months out of work and getting better, your body is damaged and needs time to recover and calm back down, Im sure you could claim benefits whilst you werent working, thanks for the well wishes about myself and g/f etc, they are well :)

Tiff - No worries, I knew you would get to it eventually,

I feel tonnes better with work, never thought I would feel like this again, but everyone is so nice to me, and its really nice making a difference again.
