Hi Tiff,Thanks for asking,i read the thread every day just not posted much lately,i am ok,i have down days but seem to be keeping the depression at bay.Hope it lasts as i don't want to sink into that black hole again.Over the years i have learnt a few self help teqniques and at the moment they are working but for how long, who knows. Not heard from "N" since Tuesday didn't really expect to as he has been off work for a week but still sad because he could have been in touch if he really wanted to.I don't think it is every going to be the relationship i want it to be.Even as a friendship i want more than he is able or wants to give.To me a friend is someone you can rely on,who is there for you, that you can trust and talk about anything, maybe i expect too much,i don't know but i don't expect anything i am not prepared to give myself.Maybe people always let you down in the end, they seem to im my life.
I have been having computer problems, the dreaded blue screen so if i dissapear for a while it will have given up the ghost.Already thinking how i can buy another, finances are tight but i spend a lot of time on line and would not like to go back to the other "box " lol.
How are you? have you heard anything about the Harrogate trip or did it not work out? You do not post much about yourself but i have noticed you often post in the early hours.Do you have trouble sleeping?I know that if your sleep pattern gets out of kilter it can be hard to get it back to a normal pattern.I never go to bed before midnight, sometimes 2 or 3 am but that is quite normal for me always been a night owl and when i do go to bed i don't have any trouble dropping off.Anyway better go before the computer crashes again.Take care x

I spent most of yesterday sorting and tidying things and putting things in boxes, (exciting huh?! ),

   TIFF You tidied up so well that you ended up putting your own cat in a box!!! :rotfl:

    You're such a diva Tiff :p

Hope all is well with you.

flis21, Awww poor you having to lay there helplessly while others came to rescue you. Thank God for mobiles eh! :)

I am glad to hear that you had a good time at your MILs :) It's probably good to talk with someone that has similar problems to your own. You can both advise and support each other.

Sazbo, Where have you been??? We all miss you. xxx

Let_Robinson_Sing, It sounds like you had a great night (Saturday). Glad you enjoyed yourself. Not sure I would have liked the 8-10 mile hike :rotfl:

CCStar, How did Sunday's viewing go? How are you doing?

beer2006, You sound very upbeat :) Glad things are looking up for you.

learning_to_drive, It seems like football causes a lot of stress for you. Is it really worth all the hassle? They don't seem to appreciate how hard you play. If you still want to play football is it possible for you to play for another team? Perhaps spending some more time with your gf and her baby would be a good thing :)

Rosie, I hope you're OK hun. Don't go spending too much money on eBay now  :rotfl: jk. I hope you manage to get the camera that you want :) (((HUGS))) xxx

I had a fairly good Sunday for a change. I went down to the south coast and did some shopping :) It was lovely to see the sea and feel the sea breeze.

    Love to you all

    Hi rbk!:hello:
    How are you hun?
    :hello:
Tiff, You're consultant for your arthritis sounds a little uhm odd. Does she ever offer any other advice? Hope she prescribes you with powerful painkillers. I can't imagine how it must be for you to be in pain all over your body. Is it like that everyday? :(
He did tell me to get some orthopaedic shoes for the ol' paws (yep - I'll do that the day after hell freezes over!:D I don't wear any heels as it is.). Actually, the impression I get is that it's about monitoring deterioration in bones or joints, pain management and general tips. That's why the appointments are so far apart - so that changes can be seen. And I do get a form every time so far to get another part of my body x-rayed! Well, it's a day out isn't it?:D

Painkillers, I'm afraid, is a sore subject - because the anti-inflammatories which are prescribed for arthritis to help with swelling and pain in joints has dairy products in, I can't take them due to an allergy to dairy products which I only got abour 5 years ago.:o So, I'm afraid it's just me and the old faithful - paracetamol!

I set my alarm for 8:00am this morning. I had planned to shower and get dressed. However, I fell asleep after turning my alarm off. I woke up at about 11:00 and did shower and get dressed so that was OK :) I think you're right. I need to make a timetable so that my day has structure.
I thought it was a good idea. Just don't put too much on your timetable - stick to basics for now angel.;)

I received a call today from a social worker who will be dealing with my care. I have an appointment to see her on Tuesday of next week.
That's great hun.hug.gif Make sure you're completely honest about how you're doing angel so that you can get all the help you might be entitled to.

However much I hated being in hospital I find myself really missing the support. There was always people available to talk to but now I'm no longer there I don't have anyone.
I think 90% of people who've been in hospital feel the same. Completely natural.;) You go in looking like something the cat's dragged in, you're encouraged and helped and supported and feeling better and then you get to go home alone. It's hard not to worry about how you'll manage. Remember though hun, that the Crisis Team are always at the end of the phone. That's why they don't like people to be in hospital for any longer than they need - so that they don't become 'institutionalised' and unable to function at home.

I know that life is short. I just struggle to find any purpose in life. I don't feel I fit in. I can't make friends or maintain relationships with boyfriends which is a huge and important part of life. Why is it such a struggle? I feel totally stupid being the way I am.
I really know how you feel hun. Try not to think about it hun - some answers take time to appear. Don't torture yourself with questions that are too big to answer now. You're not being stupid rbk - there are too many posters on here for stupidity to be a reason for our situations!;) Just remember angel - everything changes and shifts.hug.gif

Anyway Tiff, enough about me. How are you? You reply in great length to all of us but very rarely tell us what's going on in Tiff world? I don't mean to pry or anything, I just care. How is your son?
Breathing - but it may be a temporary situation if he doesn't start helping out a bit more.:D Still, he's 17, not in trouble (yet!  ) so I have that to be thankful for.;)
Me? Aren't you depressed enough hun?:D :rotfl: I think I've covered me over the last few days haven't I? I'm all right hun, thank you.;)
I never think for a minute that anyone on here is prying hun - and if I'm wrong and they are, I hope they enjoy it!;) It's very kind of you to ask rbk.
Right I shall leave you with your exciting Monday hun. Look after yourself.hug.gif

    Mornin peeps

The hair is more of a burgundy than a violet so Im a bit disappointed with it to be honest..

I'd like to apologise for my part in the posts last night. It was wrong for it to have been brought to MSE, let alone the depression thread from another site altogether.

Anyway.. hope everyone has a happy monday.. and rest of the week

    Big huggs xxxxxxxxxx
