Went for my interview today, it went well, was at the airport for a car hire company, 21 applicants for interview for one role.
Shifts are a bit strange, 8-4 then 2-10 no saturdays but every other sunday, 5 over 7.
I applied for tonnes via total, monster and fish4 and they are all starting to get back to me, I have a phone interview / chat with a store manager at Smiths in Bradford regarding a supervisor's position that I applied for a while back, additionally an interview with Sainsbury's (Jacksons though, convenience) on Wednesday. Everyone is getting back to me now, so its nice that things are moving along.0 -
Whether its a long term thing, or whether ASDA HO will get back to me either way, I cant wait for Morrisons forever, I wont rule out a move to them but I need to be getting money in, and I may as well do it in a position such as supervisor (both smiths and JS are for) where I wont get bored and can add to my CV but at the same time learn from my mistakes!
Who knows what the long term plan is, as my Psych man said to me, just focus on the definites at the minute, tomorrow, the day after, next week.0 -

Rosie, I hope you're OK hun. Don't go spending too much money on eBay now  :rotfl: jk. I hope you manage to get the camera that you want(((HUGS))) xxx
I had a fairly good Sunday for a change. I went down to the south coast and did some shoppingIt was lovely to see the sea and feel the sea breeze.
Love to you all
RBK xXx
Hi hun x
How the shopping go? must have been nice to be by the sea, lovely scenery too probably, how are you doing?
Ah ebay, yes im a sucker for that got my eye on 4 cameras :rotfl:
Well its a weird day in Rosie world atm, lots going on within the family, Gran still very unwell, and my mum still runnin ragged and she is very unwell too, also had very upsetting news that a friend of the family comited suicide, so everything is up in the air atm and im starting to realise that atm I need to be strong.
Also had councelling today, made me realise I have to confront some things from my childhood, which i would ratherr just forgot , my councellour is a poohhead lol :rotfl:
anyway basic jiist lots going on, emotions all over the shot. Something I have realised tho, I have lots of people on my side, some people have given up, some people are no longer here, but im sure as hell not done yet, lol. And with soo many people on my side , and for those who are noo longer here, but there spirit is strong, live within me, and that is strong, that is the fighting part of me. I have also realised that in order to protect myself the people that have given up, no longer care and have dissappeared and no longer talk to me need to be put behind me as well, to a point. Its thier choice. Soz if that sounds selfish but Rosie has realised she needs to take care of herself.xxx
OK fraid my head is a mess tonight farr too busy racing, i swear sometimes it thinks farr too much:rotfl: , why also does it decide to race most when you want to sleep? guess thats just the way, run around all day, constantly tierd to the point you want to go to bed, then when you need you cant sods law lol.
Doing all my best atm to stay outta hospital, after my doc advising it last week, i gotta fight.
aww and heres some news, guess who i see when strolling down the street, Jack from Emmerdale, any of you watch Emmerdale? He said hello as well :T, there are a few films on the island atm he prob in one of those , also got my site up and running, constant work in progress tho, anyone who wants to see it PM me and will give ya a link.
ok hope you are all either tucked up in bed all sleeping well, as it seems quiet tonight

Indeed, my only concern is that I will suffer with a bit of anxiety and panicy feelings such as fast breathing and feeling ill and sick and teary when I start!0

TY for the advice, I had sold my depression book on amazon, but I felt that I needed to keep hold of it for emergencies, so I emailed the buyer saying I couldnt complete the sale and sent him a refund.
Sounds daft but there are still stuff I need to read up on!0 -
,
CCStar, Glad to hear that the house viewing went OK. Lets hope things start to look up for you
Tiff, At least they are monitoring you closelyIt's a real shame that you can only take Paracetamol to help with the pain. Have you tried those magnetic therapy bracelets that are supposed to help? I've seen them but have no idea how well they work.
The thing is I discharged myself from hospital because I was !!!!ed off with my psychiatrist. In one of the meetings (this was after the 2nd OD that i took while in hospital) he said to me that I was overdosing for the wrong reasons blah blah  I said right I want to leave. He said to the nurse get her the discharge form. I stormed out of the meeting, signed the self-discharge form, got my bags and left. So basically I discharged myself against medical advice. I wouldn't have done it though had he not been such an !!!!
I had no idea your son was a teenager. I somehow had the impression he was a lot younger, like....10
How was your Monday hun?
Ethel, Sorry to hear that you aren't very happy with your new hair color. Are you able to color it again or will you have to wait?
blinky, Hope things are OK with you. *HUGS*
Sazbo, Lovely to hear from you. Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling too good. I hope you're feeling better now. Make sure you're not overdoing things. You need to have a little Sazbo time every now and then
I am Ok thank you.
elona, It sounds like you had a very busy Monday. The homemade food sounds yummy. It's making me feel hungry but it's like half 1 in the morning so it wouldn't be good to eat now. You must be a good cook if all the food has gone :T
Rosie, I know you're having a difficult time right now with lots of things going on. Believe in yourself hun. You seem to be thinking positively which is a good sign :T
'Rosie has realised she needs to take care of herself'.
I'm so glad you said that. It's so true as well. If you don't you'll become unwell and none of us want that.
We're always here for you. You know where I am if you ever need to chat.
I sometimes watch Emmerdale so I know who you mean. It was nice that he said hello and didn't ignore you
learning_to_drive, It's only a matter of time before you get a call/letter to say 'you've got the job' I can't wait for you to post that on here. You've put in so much effort and it will pay off. You seem to be getting lots of interviews as well so yay :T I've never had an interview in my life so no idea how they work. Do you get nervous before/during an interview or are you usually quite calm and collected?
I think your psych made a good point. Basically you need to accept the past, focus on the present and not stress about the future. I think that applies to all of us actually
It's natural to feel nervous when starting a new job. As you get used to the work place, people and your job role the nervousness will subside.
Tomorrow I have an appointment with my new social worker  I can't even remember her name oops! I don't even know why I'm going. I don't know how she can help me 'cos I can't even help myselfOh well. I'll see what she has to say tomorrow.
