    Hi cc!:hello:
Good luck cc - hope it goes well for you hun.
You've seemed a bit more relaxed over the last couple of days.:T Hoping all is well with you.hug.gif
    Much Love,
    Tiff xxx

    Thank you

It is typical of my life - a great big explosion then calm again.

You have all been angels even when I was having hissy fits about my panicky thoughts, which I remember and note when people stay my mate after having hissy fits, when I feel people don't like me - I don't know where it comes from but I get convinced people don't like me and get feelings of abandonment and it makes me growl!

Here is hoping this is the change I have been waiting for. It has been better since our son went, mind you it has been busy.

I slept better last night once I got off but not woken up so early.

  • hey guys.

    Hope you are all ok.
I was going into college today and saw a nasty car crash. i saw it all in my wing-mirror so I was first on the scene and i went to the car that was involved and spoke to the driver. I called police & ambulance and they arrived quickly. Thankfully both drivers were ok but the driver who wasnt at fault was more hurt, it seemed he hadf whiplash. I gave my statement to the copper and left. It brought back some bad memories of the time I was in a car crash. but if anyone is planning to drive today PLEASE TAKE CARE!!!

    much love

    RBK - you're Gorgeous !!

You have so much to offer - you just need to hang around til someone spots it (friend or lover).
    We can all see it.

I need to vent here and no offence to any guy on here

    Why are men such babies?

My OH had to go on a sleep study today and he said it was really boring. Maybe it was but why does he have to make such a hoo har about it.

    He makes everything a drama.

Our son's mobile bill was high and OH is going to pay it and keep paying it. So more evidence of soft as sh*t parenting and going against me. He thinks he is going to have a nice weekend with me. I'm not going to be horrible but I feel so angry with the way he treats me.

I did a plus and minus about what I like and dislike about him - there isn't much I like.

    Hi flis!:hello:
How's you hun? Bet you were glad to get rid of that itchy cast angel?;)

    quote=flis21
You would not be better off dead, although I know how easy it is to feel that way. Do you have one person who you know cares for you? I do not have friends or a social life, but I have my Mum and my Husband. I know they both love me and they are the people that keep me going from day to day. If it wasn't for them I would have given up long ago. Maybe you have a parent or sibling or someone?
It's true flissy - one person is a great start. When we're really depressed hun, we isolate ourselves by withdrawing. Maybe our confidence gets shaken too. And life won't stop for us to catch up with it. I hope you know how much you are valued on here flis too :A - it may be scant consolation I know, but imho, it's one of the few places people like us can come, be welcomed, get advice and support and not be judged. It's no substitute for the big wide world at all, but I'm glad it's here.:T

Sometimes if you really watch people, you'll notice people in a group jumping from one to the other, trying to belong. A crowd can be the loneliest place in the world and I don't think there are many people with a party list like the Beckhams! Another case of quality rather than quantity I think. It's not easy to put yourself out there when you're feeling vulnerable.

To be honest I don't have a lot of faith in psychiatric care either. I spoke to a CPN, who I was then told was going to arrange for some people to come to my flat to 'assess' me. Well that was a year ago and I never heard anything since!! Did speak to someone on the phone about a month after I spoke to the CPN and was just told I was on a waiting list. Completely pointless. I have given up with asking them for help. My gp keeps me supplied with medication and I try and help myself apart from that.
    Flis - I'm getting my pen out!:D
That is absolutely disgusting! It's like ethel said, you have to keep shouting until someone hears you. No wonder you don't trust the service. For you, or anyone else, no matter how hard it is, PLEASE get on the phone and chase them. If you feel you can't wait, or that waiting will make things worse, you have to tell them exactly how you're feeling. CPNs can be wonderful but there are other parts of the service too that you could access such as counsellors or psychologists or psychiatrists.

I'm kind of in two minds about your gp hun tbh. If they haven't chased things for you, then you need to ask them to. Gps can also be great but, imho, mental ill health is a specialist field and there may be benefits there for you that you're not getting the chance to access.
If I were you flis, the least I'd do is ask the gp to refer you for an assessment. If you were told you were going to get one over a year ago, then you should have it.

It's good that you see your gp, but it's not good that you're trying to get yourself through this alone hun. hug.gif Something went wrong somewhere methinks. I'm not pushing you hun - I'm just trying to say there is more help there IF you want it. And if that help isn't good enough, you have every right to say so and get an improvement. You are the client hun - the need is yours, not theirs.

They may well say that you're managing okay now after the assessment and give us a call if you've got any problems, but at least you'll have heard it from the experts, that's all I mean angel.;)
I hope you're doing all right angel and I'm glad you have got such loving relationships.:T Take care angel.hug.gif

Just about to get in the shower when DD said she wanted to go!!!!

Half an hour later I may eventually get showered and dressed.

We are going to a funeral this afternoon so not exactly a fun day.

    Hugs to everybody.

Hope things get better. Lets just "keep on keeping on " IYKWIM!
