Why would they give you hassle? Are you paying too much? Is it in a bad area?
Are they quite old fashioned? If my son moved into a place with an OH, I would hope the finances were fair and he wasn't going to get ripped off. Also, I would hope she was as committed to him as he was to her.
We parents worry that you won't be ripped off or hurt.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Its not a bad area. I can just imagine my mum giving me hassle as its her personality. They aren't old fashioned in the slightest as they let me and OH share the same bed when she is over.
Her parents are ok with everything they dont mind it's just my parents that i am worried about. :mad:0 -

What sort of things do you anticipate her giving you hassle about?
btw - Can I ask you a personal question about when your parents let you share a bed with girlfriends?
I'm not a prude but our rules are you have to have been going out a long time, rather than encouraging him to have numerous women in our house. We don't mind a long term g/f tho'.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am just worried that mother will stick her nose up about me moving in with my OH because my father got divorced when he was young i think my parents might think that it might happen to me.
It was about a year ago since my parents started letting me share a bed with my OH.
I mean i can understand why my parents would oppose if i brought home a different g/f every week but i guess they done mind considering its long term. My parents even forked out for me and my OH to have a double bed in a seperate room when we all went on holiday.0 -

It is worse when there are children involved, I feel children are far more binding than marriage or living together.
Also, in my day, it was just starting to get more acceptable to live together without marrying, these days it is fairly common.
I let my son share with his long standing g/f but didn't let his last g/f sleep in the same bed as him. They have now finished and he is dating another g/f.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
