    Sooooo tired.
Just done 14 old papers (well, answer plans rather than written out in full) - took from 9:30 til 5pm with only a half hour break for brain food.

My attitude has changed today and I actually don't mind doing it. I'd like to go round and round these papers right up til the exams. I've only stopped because my eyes are hurting and I'm tired. Just had an early tea so I can do another session later.

I'm so sorry so hear about even more probs for Ethel. I don't understand why somewhere that is supposed to be set-up for patients like your DD can't cope with her - it's stupid IMO.

Tiff. C'mon take the vaseline off the lens xx

To everyone - you are all gorgeous.
Thank you all for sharing your piccies xx

Hugs and handshakes to everyone who wants one (or two).

    xx

This is a big help tiffy.. I shall do it.... we've got an appt with someone from the CAB tomorrow morning, regarding DLA, I might ask her if she knows of anything we can do too xxxx

Great job going to CAB hun tomorrow re DLA.:T
By all means mention this to them, but I think we need to head into the specialised field of mental health.

Social Services can take a young person out of hours hun.

Also, did you know that if there are no free places in your area for your DD to get the high level of care she needs, that the NHS mental health services can put her wherever there is one in the whole country AND transport her there too!

Anything I can do to help hun?hug.gif

    Hi Tiff hun

why did ya mention me there ^^^^^?:o

well evening all ya lovely jubbily peeps

just in from my day, absolutely pooped :rotfl:

1st off went to next step the mental health place i now spend my days at , did some digital stuff, resizing images for my webby site, and design some rough invitations for my dads birthday bash. :p

then went for lunch with one of my mates from the place, we had a big art shop, hehehe

then we went back to the unit and i did some painting (abstract), but whilst the session was on, it was interupted by one of the women coming in the room shouting and screaming at us  , it all unnerved us and shook us up pretty big time, but rosie here made sure peeps were ok. :0

then had my councelling appointment i ended being 15 mins late coza the incident at the unit :( , but the sesion went well, its the 1st time i have seen her since she admitted me into hospital :rotfl: , i thanked her politely, and we laughed. she says that it sounds like i am now heading in the right direction, or at least that i am now on the path, i may not be able to see where i am going, but there is a path. it will have many turns and different paths leading off, having to make decisions, and be responsible, but at least i am on the path, whooopeeeee :)

so thats may day, what about the rest of yas?

This is awful sweetheart. I'm so sorry. Keep us posted - I hope she's okay. If this doesn't make them see how much help she needs, I don't know what will.

  • I also remember you mentioning that you are Bradford fan is that right? if so how do rate their chances of survival this season?

also LTD i am looking forward to reading the 'mega post'

Hi, yeah indeed, I was there at Rotherham and I do go to a lot of the games, we will stay up, Todd had to go and Wetherall has changed the teams style of play massively, however we are playing football that requires players with skill, sadly we dont have any.

Im going back about my back tomorrow, getting my last supply of Prozac before my re assesment (probably be reduced dosage to wean me off them) and my counselling session is on the 17th march too, jst to pick up where I left off with a bit of self CBT and things. My back is bad though, has been this bad before, the tablets I have been given dont seem to have worked.

Hi guys, christ where do I start? Been away for a couple of days, out and about, lot going on, but no job news yet, applied for loads. My back has gone badly today :( jarred it catching a shot today at footy, seized up effectively :(

Had a good night out with Sainsburys lot last night (meets money / drink criteria) because it was planned ages ago, a lot of banter about unemployment, being a scummer etc but my mates were pleased (after banter :) ) to see me out and a lot better apparently :)

Time is now to turn things around, I am aware of my strengths, weaknesses and Im taking the time to make sure the next move is the right one.

Less so happy about football, I dont overly like the people I play footy with, I had some issues last season but gave it a go again this season, me and my best mate are sort of in our own clique. A lot of things are !!!!ing me off, Im the keeper for the team, and have played every game this season, because this other lad has come down who is mates with some of the lads, its like they want him to play. That attitude baffles me because surely you pick the best team, ive been one of the better players this season. But everyone is like give the other lad a chance, which is strange because im the better keeper?

Not only that but when i went today, he was saying that he couldnt understand why he wasnt in because I was no better than him, bearing in mind hes 5"9, came down as a striker but wasnt good enough and has been at the club 2 months. Honestly, it !!!!es me off that i have such little support from my team mates.

Not only that, ive been getting some banter about "being smacked up" and "counselling sessions" including the mention of the latter and people laughing but in that hiding it shocked laugh. I dont follow what its about, maybe about me going to counselling but I havent mentioned anything so maybe its a joke ive missed. Either way :S

To add to that, football is bad enough, but theres a players' stag do in a couple of weeks, no mention has been made to me about it, so I dont think ive been invited, basically all the team will be there apart from me and my mate, I can sort of relate my story to the Tiff story about the Limo. It just guts me that people cant even ask me, I dont understand it, everyone talking about it but no mention has been made to me or my mate.

People like that motivate me to get better and focus on the future and sorting myself out, but the banter was worse last night, yet I took that with good grace because it wasnt malicious, was from really good friends and etc!

    hi hun

get in the bath soak bath nicely, then lie flat on it, do back exercises so it doesnt totally seize up, i have a bad back and exercise it when i can.

Its good you are realising that you now need to take steps and continue on, getting a job and doing exercise is a positive shame you not feelin great with your back but try and rest it but exercise it too.

lol, i understand you on the footy thing, i used to play football had to give it up due to a knee and foot injury, but have you told them how you feel, it sounds like you have real talent so challenge them, they probably just want to see how the other one does, as long as you know you are the best thats all that matters.
