    evening you both :)

RBK.. my daughter used to od on a regular basis, like 3-4 times a month, she's had a few near misses.. and her blood levels are now screwed, don't know about permanent damage yet to her liver or kidneys.. they keep screening her everymonth to check.

Please please be very careful with your body... it can so easily go horribly wrong *big hugggs*

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter :( I can't imagine how hard it must be for you to deal with.

I had my blood levels checked regularly while I was in hospital. I think they are back to normal now. Not sure about the liver. I think it repaired itself after the Parvolex treatment.

I know it's dangerous to OD but I did it because I honestly wanted to die. I was so disappointed that it didn't work.

That's what she says too, that she wants to die.. and she was gutted that she survived each time. She fought the doctors off and all sorts, had security guards watching her til she passed out so the docs could do their thing. she's also tried to hang herself a couple of times and she carves her body up with anything she can find now, she can't find knives or scissors or anything here at home now cos it's all locked away but she'll even use a cd case or the edge of a mobile phone battery.. it's awful.

She's in a long term stay hospital now and will be for at least another 6-18 months..

Do your family not mention it for fear of upsetting you? It seems to be one of the main conversation topics in ours :o

I can so relate to your daughter. I felt that the Dr's were just interfering by trying to save me. I wanted to be left alone.

Gosh that must be so difficult for you. Do you have to go and visit her each day?

I'm not sure why they don't mention it. Perhaps they are worried, I'm not sure.

Ah that's good that she's allowed home at the weekends. You must miss her so much.

Evening LRS. Have a good time at the pub :)

I have a boyfriend but I hardly see him.

Yes, everyone on MSE have been a great source of support.

Wow Rose! You must be very talented.

What have I achieved. Apart from passing my GCSE's and A-levels not very much.
