I have been looking around on the internet for different hair styles, think I am going to go really short (at the moment it is a chin length bob). Something shorter and almost spiky ifswim). Not having it coloured, can't afford that (the cut alone in the posh salon I am going to is £30!).

I might have a look on ebay for some clothes maybe, that way I won't have to spend too much money.

I have tried lots of different things for my skin, but none of it really seems to work!

Yes I want to go back to the gym when ankle is healed, I am hoping to return in either May or June. I was actually really enjoying it, which is the really frustrating thing!!

    Good morning all! (((HUGS)))

Hey flis21. Hopefully a trip to a posh salon will make you feel better in yourself :)

There are so many clothes on eBay that go really cheap. I'm sure you'll find a bargain.

How about going to see your Doctor regarding your skin. They can prescribe you antibiotic creams or tablets.

Wow, your weight loss is brilliant, you must be really pleased, but I suppose you are right that if I lost weight I would just find something else I am not happy with and focus on that!! I am currently around 18 stone and 5 foot 5, so my BMI is horrendous. I can't believe I have let myself go like this. I was 12 stone when I got married 2.5 years ago!

How did you lose the weight? I am going to try and do it without a 'diet' but just by changing my eating habits, less takeaways, meals out and processed foods, more fruit and veg and make stuff from scratch. Have been looking on the old style boards for inspiration.

Yes i finaly lost the weight by changing my eating habits it is much better than going on a "diet" because at some point you come off the diet and back comes the weight.I eat a lot more fruit and veg than i used to.Unfortuanetly i work odd houre 2pm till 8pm so find it hard to cook from scratch.I eat a lot of the good for you ready meals bulking them out with steam fresh veg. Also i use skimmed milk and flora diet margerine, sugar substitute and look for low fat,low calorie alternatives.Asda do a lovely low fat egg mayonase. Also as i have a sweet tooth i keep a couple of the mini choc bars in the freezer and nible on those when i have a chocolate craving.I am not keen on yogurt but suger free jelly is good, you can have loads for very little calories with skwirty cream or low fat ice cream.I do treat myself to a takeaway once a month or so but just cut down a little for a few days after.Good luck

Hi Saz, How are things with you? I feel really bad about not being on here in so long, ignoring you all when things were going well, just to come crawling back when I am down!! Will you forgive me?

Flis! :hello: Don't be so daft, hun! Nothing to forgive. We all have up and down phases, different needs at different times y'know? There's always a warm welcome here for you, anytime.

Yeah, I am really looking forward to Tuesday, hav been looking around at hair styles on the internet and printed off a couple of pictures to take with me.

I did use to have a lotion for my skin from the doctor when I was a teenager. The spots aren't as bad now as they were then, just that suddenly I will get 5-6 bad ones and feel horrid! Have got some neutrogena stuff my SIL recommended (she is a beautician), so am giving that a go at the minute.

  • I was talking with some friends yesterday from work, to give you an idea of what I was like at Sainsbury's when I was there, I was so confident I was given the monicker "Jose" (still used today!) by my mates, after the great Chelsea manager because of my results and arrogance with it. I wasnt truly insufferably arrogant, I used to play on it more than anything.

However, someone on a works night out around a year ago tried to belt me for whatever reason, then obviously the chattering sideliners (people who just watch and love a drama) started getting involved and accusing me of all kinds of stuff that I'd done allegedly.

Then around a week later or summat, someone tried to spike my drink with laxative! Naturally didnt work, I remember seeing something strange looking in my drink, but it staggered me at the lengths people would go to see me fail or look a bit stupid.

Random thoughts, maybe soon (that im off work until something comes up, however ive signed up with agencies and waiting for barclays) I will write down, depression, my story,

That is brilliant, just how I want to lose my weight. Think I have some sugar free jelly in the cupboard from my weight watcher days, might dig that out and make some up. I have also just received my first fruit and veg box delivery and had a nice healthy salad for lunch with a banana and yogurt for pudding, so doing well today.

It is annoying that I can't get on the scales at the moment (due to leg cast), but I can still make a start, just won't be able to check progress for a couple of weeks.
