I am not sleeping well, I don't get peace in the home, my OH isn't putting his foot down with our son and no-one respects my needs here. My neighbours make noise outside. People seem to treat me badly, I must have a 'kick me' aura about me. I seem to get bullied wherever I am.

He shouts at me when I can't cope with feeling tired and stressed - he isn't being strong with our son and it's doing my head in.

I can't work as I fear feeling tired at home. I can't cope with the pressure to be loving and nice all the time, otherwise he rants and mutters so I can hear it all round the house. It makes me feel anxous and sweaty to the point I'm scared to get clean. The last thing I need after a day at work or when I feel tired/under the weather.

They can be moody and horrid and I have to take it. Yet if I can't cope, I'm shouted at.

Why do men treat people badly and blame others? Why are men such selfish pigs? They look at !!!!!! then wonder why their wives get upset, especially when they aren't receptive to their advances. They lie and wonder why I don't trust them. They don't want women to do well at work, they deny them if they have children or are married. The glass ceiling is created by men to frustrate women. Women aren't supportive to other women either, they play the male game, please the beast at all cost.

I have been stupid and think other women are stupid too for taking men's crap!

I can smell and taste the freedom I need but want to sell this place first but of course,
this house isn't selling and I want to end it all.

Oh CC I do feel for you. You really do seem struck in a rut and are obviously not at all appreciated. We often have to go through all sorts of crap to get to a better place ... but, it WILL happen, just hang on in there for now.icon7.gif

Your house WILL sell ... it took us 12 months to sell our last terraced house, but we got there in the end.

Believe me, not all men are as selfish as your OH sounds. Although my OH has for a long time suffered with depression, I've always been at his side as he's such a lovely person and worked so very hard at managing his problems. I truly believe we all have a soul mate ... some of us are just a bit luckier than others in that we find them sooner.

Try to think positive thoughts and look ahead ... I'm sure happier times are forecast for you, it may just take a little time and effort to get there, BUT, you willicon7.gif

MimiJane, that was well put and a lovely post.

CC, you know not all people are the same, you like the guys on here presumeably? So why do you say, all men are like that? You know thats not true. Maybe you are in the wrong relationship, I don't know, only you can tell that. But you have to believe there are good men out there, as well as good women.

12 MONTHS!! - I WILL BE DEAD if I have to wait another 12 weeks! It is a larger house than a terrace. Our other houses have sold within 8-10 weeks, not months!!

I thought it was me being selfish all these years but realise it isn't.

My needs have been trashed over the years, when I was tired from work, he wouldn't help around the house or make life easy, he just added to my hassles and got at me for feeling angry and upset about his behaviour. I had to give up work as the stress got too much, I would have left him had my job paid more and going back home wasn't an option!

I am needing a relaxed family time time tonight like we normally do on Tuesdays and my OH is allowing our son to stay out at the expense of my health!

So another night of bad sleep and feeling worse tomorrow because they won't consider my needs.

So many men have sh*t on me

My OH was the first one to do so by being distant and hurtful when I wasn't well, then being nasty when I felt hurt and showed it.

Then when I tried to find work, I kept getting told by men that being married was the reason I didn't get work. Being a woman sucks, my illness was female related, women don't care about each other and men deep down want to keep women in the kitchen!

Women just played the game and weren't supportive. They just like to be pathetic and pander to the men.

Rosie, I'm not sure it's a good thing that you stopped your meds like that. I thnk you should carry on with them until you can get to see your doctor. I know it feels like they aren't helping but maybe they take a while to get working.

Be careful with yourself and your health Rosie.. there's only one of you and you arent replaceable xx
